About

We pride ourselves in creating products just as unique as the Crimson Cactus. As always, we proudly hand make all of our items here in the USA!

My mother, Patti started making ceramic pieces in 1981 in North Carolina as a way to provide a 'second' income and allow her to stay at home with my older brother and I. She started exhibiting pieces in arts and craft shows in the Carolinas and then in the late 80's moved to El Paso, TX, where she did shows and festivals throughout west Texas and southern New Mexico. Another move in 2003, took our family to the Kansas City, Missouri area. In 2006, we added hand-poured soy candles and hand-crocheted necklaces to our product line. In 2011, we came back to Texas and opened our Etsy shop! We chose the name Crimson Cactus because that is a very unique cactus flower and each of our items are hand-made and one-of-a-kind...just as unique as the Crimson Cactus.

Sadly, in 2014 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and she passed away in the summer of 2017. With the help of my husband, son, and Dad, we are proud to keep our business going strong and family operated in the heart of Texas!

We offer great, hand-made products for everyone in the family! We're constantly adding new items and our inventory is always changing, so please come back often! With more and more companies sending their business overseas, we are proud to hand-make these wonderful items in the USA!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
It is our goal to provide you with 100% satisfaction! If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Returns must be mailed back to us (at buyer's expense) within 7 days. All refunds will be issued once the item has been received. Regretfully, we can not refund shipping charges.

Personalized items and custom orders are not illegible for refunds, unless there has been an error made in customization or personalization.
Payment
Payment through Etsy or PayPal is expected immediately following your purchase.
Shipping
Unless otherwise stated in item descriptions, all items are shipped out within 48 hours of receipt of a paid order. Orders received on the weekend will be mailed on the next business day. Personalized items may take an additional 48 hours. We ship all items via USPS with delivery confirmation and do our best to recycle packaging / boxes when we ship. We take extra care in packaging our ceramic items to help ensure there is no damage in shipping.

We ship all of our items via USPS Priority or First Class Mail with tracking / delivery confirmation. All domestic shipping should be received within 10 days. If you have not received your item within 12 days from the date of shipping, please let us know so we can contact our local Post Office to locate the package.
