Handmade in Byron Bay, Australia.

What to crochet and Prince have in common?

Crimson and Clover was opened because friends and family were always saying I should sell my crochet creations... and they were right! So I'm slowly building all the elements to make it bigger and better.

I decided to call my shop Crimson and Clover because I love the song (especially the Prince version, which I saw him perform live!!) and because it kind sounds good with the operative word CROCHET :0)
owner, maker, designer
As a Visual Arts student at University in 2000, I became attracted to fibre and textile artforms. I was experimenting with different yarns, threads, beads, wire, absolutely anything that could be woven, knotted, threaded and treasured.

This attraction was the first sign that I would be seduced by the world of Crochet 5 years later.

I turned into a crochet-aholic when I watched in awe as my nimble fingered friend created a beanie before my very eyes! Since then I have been non stop making crochet accessories, homewares, and baby clothes.

Now I live in an artistic, little seaside town called Byron Bay, in Australia. My designs are filled with a melange of retro, sixties, beach, bohemian, surfie, hipster, gypsy kind of style. I make things which I want to covet in my own wardrobe.

I opened my online shop, Crimson and Clover, where I offer crochet pieces which are designed and created by moi! I also occasionally have a little stall at the local community markets.
Please enjoy!
