Original and Easy to Follow!
It was my Mother who first taught me to crochet. She patiently showed me, an impatient six year old, how to twist yarn between the fingers to create chains. Soon all of my friends and family were decked with yarn necklaces and bracelets!
As I progressed, I appreciated patterns that were clear and concise, with just a few pictures for the tricky parts. This is the kind of pattern I try to create. I write every pattern with the reader in mind, giving them clear, detailed instructions. There's nothing better than sailing straight through a pattern and having the end result turn out just right! - And if you do have a hiccup along the way, I am available to help you through it!
*The process starts with an idea. Something eye catching that would be wonderful redone in crochet/knit, or something I haven't seen that I would love to dream into existence!
*Once an idea has been hatched the design phase begins. This may take some time as ideas are reshaped and refined.
*Next comes the fun part! - The dream is knitted or crocheted to life and a new design is born!
*Photos are taken of the newest creation, and then integrated into a new pattern that will be easy to read and wonderful to use!
I love to share my patterns here on Etsy. I try to make sure every original design is fresh, fun and beautiful! I love being able to put the power to create something unique into someone else's hands! A customer recently left feedback saying her creation was "the talk of the baby shower!" - For me, it just doesn't get any better than that!

Being born in the Pacific Northwest, you get used to reaching for something soft and warm! And so, my love for yarn and all the ways it can be transformed was cemented at a young age. I love helping others create something soft and warm to reach for!
