Announcement   Welcome to my Etsy shop and thank you for visiting. All the items you see here have been made by me using sea glass that has been collected only from the beaches of Cromarty. The sea glass is genuine in that it is old (some of it from the 19th Century) and it has been naturally tumbled by the waves and sands of the Cromarty Firth.

Please read my shop's policies for further information.

Thank you and happy browsing.

Thank you for taking the time to read my shop's policies and further information.

All the items I sell are created by me.

In my jewellery I use authentic naturally tumbled sea glass and other beach combed items that have been collected only from the beaches of Cromarty. I do not buy and use sea glass from other sources. Where I use manufactured materials I will detail this in the descriptions of the pieces I am selling.

I endeavour to describe my pieces as accurately as possible and I am very happy to provide further information if you want it. This includes sending you photos.

It pleases me to know that the glass you will be wearing was used and then discarded by people from our past and who were once an integral part of the historical fabric of our unique town. Cromarty was once an important port from where many hundreds of Scottish people emigrated to far flung parts of the world - Novia Scotia, New Zealand, Africa, Australia. You never know - maybe a descendant of yours may have passed through here at one time....

Because of the indivdual nature of the sea glass I collect, no piece of jewellery that I make is ever exactly the same - each item is original and one of its kind. However there are design styles that are similar and which I enjoy creating.

Payment
Payment for my jewellery is though PayPal.

PayPal accepts credit cards even if you do not have a PayPal account.

If payment is not received within 72 hours of placing an order the sale will be cancelled and the item returned to the shop. If possible, I will contact you before I do this.

Advance payments for commissions and custom orders cannot be fully refunded where materials may have been specifically purchased. We can agree mutual terms regarding this issue.

I am sorry but I do not accept other methods of payment for my Etsy shop.
Shipping
I aim to post items using Royal Mail from our Post Office in Cromarty within 48 hours of purchase. The Post Office is closed on Sundays. Where there may be a delay in dispatch I will contact you. The postage costs are outlined at the point of purchase. Unfortunately I do not track overseas postage (from the UK) but I am willing to arrange this if you are happy to pay the extra cost.

I cannot be held liable for items that are lost in the post.
Refunds and Exchanges
I appreciate that from time to time purchasing online may lead to disappointment and I am willing to refund any item that you are not totally satisfied with. I agree to refund you through PayPal less the original postage costs if you return your item (undamaged with its gift packaging) within 3 days of your receipt of the piece. Please email me as soon as you decide to return your purchase. I will make the refund once I have received the item.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service please contact me straight away and I will be happy to address your concerns.
Additional policies and FAQs
Your purchase is guaranteed for as long as 'Cromarty Sea Glass' exists. I will happily repair or alter any items you have purchased or received as a gift at no extra cost. Please return your item to me with the appropriate instructions and I will endeavour to make the repair within five days and then return it to you.

I am very happy to accept commissions and custom orders for special occasions. Please write to me to find out more.

If you own or manage a shop and you would like to sell my jewellery, I am more than willing to establish a 'sale or return' arrangement with you, or to sell you a consigment of my jewellery at wholesale prices.

If you have collected sea glass that you would like to be incorporated into a piece of jewellery, I will be pleased to do this for you.

Your feedback is welcome and appreciated, and I will take on board any constructive comments you wish to make.
