We are Doug and MJ Moore, a husband and wife team, operating our custom woodworking shop at our home in northeastern Ohio.
A woodcrafter since his teens, Doug gained his interest from both of his grandfathers, his father and father-in-law, all woodworkers in their own right. We still have treasured pieces from all of them in our home.
After having designed and built houses, custom cabinetry, custom made furniture and fine finish work, he is now able to focus solely on his own shop work.
Each piece is handcrafted by Doug, from wood selection to hand rubbed finish.
Our mid century modern candlesticks are a classic Danish modern design. The simplicity of their shape highlights the beautiful grain of the wood. Only using native American hardwoods, the walnut and curly or tiger maple are the very best grain patterns available. The candlesticks are weighted with a hidden steel core, that vastly improves their stability.
