Hi Friend of The Crow's Nest!

I appreciate you taking the time to look at my jewelry and crocheted designs. In case you're interested in my business philosophy, here's some information. I started this business, formerly called Create A Diversion Designs, when I was 16. So I've been making jewelry for 10 years now and selling crocheted accessories for about 3 years, and I pride myself on creating quality, unique pieces of art for folks to wear. I have always tried to be fair with my pricing; I won't charge you $100 for something that cost me $6 and an hour of time to make. I believe in not ripping-off those who value my art work! So all of my prices are a true reflection of the cost and time I put into a piece.

I believe in creativity and unique, original designs- so I'm also willing to listen to your input and creative ideas if you'd like a custom design. Just let me know what you're looking for and I can probably make it for you! Convo me if you have an idea you'd like me to make into reality, and if you have a picture to send me as a guideline, I'll give you my email address so you can pass it along.

Thanks for your support, and happy shopping!

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Paypal! If you're not comfortable with Paypal for some reason, I can also accept credit cards over the phone. Please send me a message with your phone number so I can call you to get your credit card information, before you place your order through Etsy. Thanks.
Shipping
I ship through the Post Office, which should take 7 days or less, and usually more like 2 days. If you need something shipped quicker than that, send me a convo BEFORE you place your order so we can change the shipping amount. The rate will be different depending on how quickly you need the item.

Shipping is "at your own risk." While I will do my best to package your jewelry so that it gets to you in great condition, I can't be responsible if someone at the post office decides to jump on your package... If you'd like to get insurance on your package, let me know and we'll have to figure out the extra cost.
Refunds and Exchanges
I genuinely want my customers to be happy with their purchases. Refunds are tricky because there are fees involved in all my Etsy sales, and it's a hassle for both of us (you for having to ship back an item, me for having to put something back in my inventory and get you your money back, etc). So if you're truly unhappy with an item you purchase from me, here's what we'll do:

I will refund your money once I receive the item back from you, in the same condition in which I sent it to you. Your refund amount will be minus the cost of shipping, and minus the cost of any fees that I paid to collect your money for the original sale (unless those fees are refunded to me as well). Etsy does NOT refund the percentage of the sale price that I pay to Etsy when I sell an item, and I'm not sure how Paypal works. So your refund may be up to 8% less than the total cost of the item. I'm happy to share my invoices with you so you can see by how much your refund is discounted and why.

As I do my best to truly represent my work though photographs and descriptions, so you know what you're buying, I feel that this is the most fair way to handle a return. To you, the $1 or so you might be out when returning an item isn't a huge loss; for a small business like mine, though, it really adds up! Thanks for understanding and supporting a small business's policies.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you are interested in buying my jewelry wholesale for your store or business, send me a convo and I can give you wholesale prices.

I welcome requests for custom designs! I've done wedding jewelry a number of times as well, and can probably provide you with better prices than your average wedding jeweler.
