Transforming socks into loveable friends

I have always loved stuffed animals. My favorite toys as a child were always stuffed animals of some kind or another. I still have some of my childhood stuffies! A good stuffed animal is not just a plaything, but a source of comfort and security as well as stimulating the imagination.
As these things often start, I began by making animals for my kids. I love the idea of taking an ordinary pair of socks, and transforming them into a wonderful creature. Interestingly, I haven't felt at all compelled to make sock monkeys, but would rather create other creatures that we may not be so accustomed to see made from socks. I started with kitties, and things progressed from there to cheetahs, dogs, zebras, horses, unicorns, dinosaurs, elephants...
All my animals and dolls are created with love and care, to bring love and joy to you, your children, and home.
