Announcement   Welcome to my little nook here on Etsy...

Cultivated Dreams & Designs is a one woman show, operated by me (Cynthia Sutcliffe). I start each piece of jewelry from scratch! I start by sketching out designs, often inspired by different times and aspects of my life, and the things that surround me every day. You never know where you will find your muse. Gems, raw stones, and metals help to bring my visions to life - and often times, I'm dreaming up designs while sourcing my materials. Everything is completed by me in my home studio, including designing, fabrication of the jewelry, photographing, listing, and shipping.

I would like to take the time to thank every person who has chosen to purchase from my store out of the millions here on Etsy. It truly means a lot to me and it has been a very humbling experience running my own shop. And to those who come back, even several times a month for new pieces, you are truly amazing! Thank you.

About

Expressing dreams through jewelry design.

Cultivated Dreams & Designs is a once lost and now newly found dream of mine to give people what you just can't find in stores - wearable, real, raw ART. I have been running my business for five years now, and I love being able to do what I enjoy - all while making someone else happy in the process. I do everything myself, including the rough sketches of thousands of designs, creating the jewelry, photography & editing, completing orders, and even now, cutting my own stones in my home studio.

Featured in the March 2015 issue of BeadStyle Magazine and the Fall 2015 & Spring 2016 issue of The Bohemian Collective Magazine.

Returns and exchange details
I do my best to make sure you are satisfied with your order. I do everything myself, which includes production, quality control, and shipping. I do allow refunds if you are not satisfied with your purchase, as long as you are contacting me within 7 days after the order has been delivered. Each request for refunds is considered on a case by case basis. You are responsible for shipping the item back to me and the refund cannot be issued until I receive the item. Shipping is not refundable.

Custom orders are not refundable. I spend the time with a customer before a purchase is made, to be sure the order is exactly how they want it.
Payment
I accept Paypal and direct checkout (credit/debit).

If I have already shipped your item, there cannot be a cancellation. Please message me for inquiries about your order or refunds.

****** DEPOSITS & RESERVATIONS ******
I WILL reserve an item in my shop for you, for a reasonable amount of time. For this type of reservation, I will split the listing into partial payment listings that we can both agree on. The first payment will be a NON-refundable deposit and should be made within the first week, or the reservation becomes void and the item will become available to other potential buyers.
Shipping
****** FOR SHIPPING IN THE U.S. ******
Orders are usually shipped within 2-4 business days after purchase.
Most of my items ship First class in a parcel with Delivery Confirmation through USPS. Expected delivery for First class is 2-5 days. If you would like to upgrade, please contact me.

****** INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ******
I ship my items First Class International through USPS. Unfortunately, tracking only works until the package reaches the U.S. borders (Except for packages sent to Canada). Items shipped internationally will be insured.

Customs charges & other similar fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. This can cause a delay in shipping if your country's customs decides to hold the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders:
You may contact me through Etsy conversation for custom orders. I check them daily :)
This is how a custom order works from me:
1. I take the time to discuss with customers what they are looking for and give options for them to choose from.
2. The customer makes the final decision on the design, and I give a processing time and price.
3. 100% Payment must be made before the order begins processing.
4. I order the supplies needed, create your order, and send it your way!

Due to the nature of custom orders, they can not be refunded. The reason for this is that it would be money from my own pocket lost from the supplies that were already specifically ordered for the custom order, if I were to refund.
