Returns and exchange details
All items shipped in the U.S. with priority shipping have $100.00 insurance on them, I do all I can to insure that your item is packaged well so there is no damage, if you receive your item damaged please let me know right away and send pictures along with the packaging as well so I can file a claim. I've shipped almost 2000 toppers and have only filed 5 claims so it is rare that there is a problem, please note the Post office may require that you bring the package with packaging material into the Post office and proof of value. If a claim is filed customer agrees to do their part such as pictures and possibly taking the damaged item to the Post office. I agree that if a claim payed out to me by the Post office to reimburse the customer for the claim amount paid by the Post office (or other delivery service) within one week of it being paid.

If you wish to cancel your order I will only refund up to 48 hours after purchase, this does not apply to rush orders (orders which are made less than 3 weeks before needed)

Last minute orders (orders made 3 weeks or less before needed) cannot be cancelled and are not refundable.


Custom orders are non refundable, this includes any minor changes made to a listing.
Payment
Orders will not be accepted without payment in full made a minimum of 3 weeks before needed unless otherwise agreed between myself and buyer.

You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the “Pay Now” button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account
Shipping
Please allow at least 7 weeks for international shipping, international orders are produced 3 to 4 weeks after ordered (unless another time frame is agreed upon) and sent first class which does not include insurance, if you would like to upgrade your shipping for an additional fee please let me know. Orders in the U.S. are produced 3 to 4 weeks after ordered unless otherwise agreed, and are then sent by priority shipping which usually takes 2 to 3 business days after production, in some cases due to weather or unknown reasons it can take longer. Priority shipping comes with $50.00 insurance against loss or damage, if you would like additional coverage please let me know and I will add it to your order :)

Please message me before ordering to insure that I can accept your order, it is best to order at least a month in advance, however I understand that may not always be possible, if you need your item sooner please inbox me with the date you need your item, I may be able to accommodate you, if I am overbooked I may charge an additional fee to squeeze your order in

Fondant has a very long shelf life, toppers will last several months if stored properly. Fondant should be stored in a cool dry place. Never refrigerate or freeze your topper, this could cause it to soften and loose it's shape.
They should be covered to avoid dust and in a dry place, never refrigerated or frozen as condensation can melt or soften the fondant.

Toppers are wrapped extremely well to avoid breakage during shipping, this means it could take some time to unwrap, please take extreme care and patience in unwrapping your topper. It is recommended that small scissors are used to gently cut away at tape, bubble wrap and saran, slowly and carefully unwrap topper layer by layer, never pull on or tug on pieces to remove from box. Toppers may feel firm to touch but are very fragile and may still be soft on the inside. It may be best to cut the box down the side then to try and wiggle it out of the box as this may cause damage. Fragile parts such as ears, tails and hair may be sent detached and can be easily assembled. Unwrapping instructions will also be sent with shipping notification.

Custom likeness toppers: Please be aware that there are no refunds for custom likeness toppers (Toppers made in the likenesses of people or animals) It is my desire to make your custom likeness topper as close as possible to the subject given however I cannot guarantee an exact likeness, I take great pride in my work and would encourage you to take a look though my shop for different examples of the quality of my creations.

If you have a problem with your topper please let me know within 24 hours of receiving it, if it is a mistake on my end I want to make it right.
It is the customers responsibility to communicate any details that are important to the design, if something is not specified I have no way of knowing what you would like and may need to make decisions about colors, design etc.

Please note, most fondant sculptures require supports such as sticks, tooth picks and in some cases wire. Foam or rice crispies are also sometimes used as fillers, for this reason most fondant sculptures are not intended for consumption. In some cases some toppers can be altered to minimize or eliminate the use of supports, if you would like this option please inbox me to see if it's a possibility. Toppers should never be handed to small children for consumption, if you are reselling them or adding them to a cake it is your sole responsibility to speak to your customers to this.

Please know that it is my priority that every topper makes it to it's destination on time and in tact, however it is possible that a loose limb or small chip or crack could occur during the delivery process, I can provide instructions for such minor repairs. If it is beyond repair you may file a claim with the post office if the item has been sent by priority mail and is insured. Each item sent by priority mail in the U.S. is insured up to $100.00, if a claim is to be made you must leave the broken item in the original packaging and bring it into the post office along with proof of value to file a claim. I do what I can to help with claims but do not give refunds for items that are damaged or sent late by the post office or other delivery services.

An order is considered "last minute" or a "rush order" if it is ordered 3 weeks or less before the date needed.

I cannot be held responsible for the actions of the Post office/delivery service of your order. Once it leaves my hands I am no longer in control of how quickly it arrives. I send most items 1 week prior to when customer needs it. (With the exception of "last minute" orders which can be sent 2 to 3 business days before needed) I send all my items (In the U.S.) by priority shipping which usually does take 2 to 3 business days. This is not guaranteed by the post office, but if it is a concern to you, you may upgrade to priority express shipping which will be an additional fee but is guaranteed by the post office. It is also not in my control if items are held up by customs or delayed or damaged due to weather or other unknown reasons.

Customer agrees to pay for additional shipping charges, some toppers require special packaging and the size of the box(s) or weight may cause the package to cost more that originally expected, in that case customer agrees to pay the difference in shipping fees. Shipping internationally may incur extra fees and customer will not hold me responsible to know the cost or when they will be charged.

Free toppers are as is, if requested I can provide a photo before sending but there is no warranty or monetary refunds provided for free toppers if customer does not like it or if there is damage or if it is lost in the mail.

Customer understands that toppers will be photographed and may be used in advertisement or social media. customer names (unless otherwise agreed) will not be used.

It is my personal goal to make each topper with the highest standards. Each topper is made by hand and toppers may vary slightly in appearance/color or size. The backs, bottoms or even sides may be flat, have folds, lumps, lines, dents or cracks. If it is important that the back of your topper has a more finished look please message me regarding this, this may not always be possible as the back is where I connect clothing etc. There is a possibility that due to settling when drying that some toppers may be slightly shorter than expected. Refunds will not be issued for minor flaws that do not affect the overall look or design of toppers.


Deposits/Retainers: Deposits/Retainers are non refundable and topper(s) will not be sent without payment in full by specified date. If seller elects to apply the non refundable deposit to a part of the order it is at sellers discretion to what deposit will be applied to if balance is not paid, for example if customer orders a set of 3 toppers and does not pay the balance it is at my discretion to choose a part of (if any) the order to still be shipped. Shipping costs are to be paid by buyer.

Classes: Unless otherwise stated all classes will be held in the State of Arizona. There are no refunds on classes, please be sure you are able to attend. Classes may end sooner or later than stated time, time is an estimated time.
Please purchase classes according to your skill level. Most classes require a basic knowledge of fondant and or gumpaste sculpting and each student should have basic fondant tools which they will need to bring to the class, a list of items needed will be emailed within 48 hours of payment. Price of classes are for my instruction and sharing of knowledge, it is very important to me that students are able to learn how to make each class project, however refunds will not be given for students inability to learn or keep up with the class, if time allows I or an assistant will give additional help. There are no refunds for class running over the time specified or incomplete projects. Participants agree that they will not replicate or teach classes they attend nor will they distribute tutorials, templates or information that is taught in any way. Each class and everything contained in it, including characters created are the property of Cup'N cake and Danielle Reyes (also known as Danielle Lechuga) and may not be used for classes given without written permission from myself. To avoid disruption students should arrive on time :)
