Frequently asked questions
What is the turnaround time for items?
Orders are typically ready to ship in 1-2 business days. We use USPS Ground Advantage for all our shipping which is their new shipping option that takes 2-5 days in transit.
Upgrade option for USPS Priority Mail 1-3 day is available at checkout. If you need overnight or a different carrier, please contact us before ordering.
I just noticed an issue with my shipping address - can it be changed?
If you notice an issue with an address, please contact us as soon as possible with the corrections.
All orders will be sent to the address given on the order unless otherwise requested. Please ensure this address is accurate and complete as we will use it EXACTLY as given. We have no way to know if the address is correct, so please DOUBLE CHECK when completing the payment process.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Returns and exchanges are not accepted due to the nature of personalized items. If your items arrive damaged due to shipping or I made a mistake on your order, please contact us immediately. We want you to be super happy with your purchase, so if you are not satisfied in any way, please let us know and we will do our best to make it right!
Do you send digital proofs before printing?
We only send PDF proofs if requested at the time of purchase, if the listing states one will be sent (in the case of invites, announcements, and custom work), or if further clarification is needed prior to printing. Most orders do not require the proofing step and it allows us to get your order to you much faster!
If you would like a proof before printing, please leave a request in the notes section at checkout or in an Etsy convo right away after placing the order. Proofs are sent via the Etsy convo system unless otherwise requested.
All PDF proofs are locked, unprintable files and are for preview purposes only.
Will the printed colors look exactly like they do on my screen?
All monitors and devices display color differently, therefore on screen colors may vary from printed colors. Please note that the gold color on the swatch chart is NOT metallic - it is simply gold in hue.
How do I add my personalization?
Please type your personalization into the text box on the listing page OR in the "message to Curio Press" text box on the cart screen. Above the personalization text field you will find the list of info we require to complete your order.
We will copy and paste your text directly from your order into the text portion of the design, so please DOUBLE CHECK it!! If a listing shows all caps or all lowercase for the name / text, your text will be printed in the same case - most of our designs use fonts that have either only upper or only lowercase letters.

How are the items packaged?
Notecards are packaged in beautiful clear acrylic boxes and notepads are packaged in sealed cello sleeves--making perfect gifts for yourself or someone special!
What kind of paper and printing do you use?
All paper items are digitally flat printed with crisp, vibrant archival inks on a professional digital press. Card and notepad paper are the same shade of white and match the white envelopes perfectly.

— Notepads are printed on smooth, white 70lb. text weight stock by Mohawk Premium Papers – heavier than standard paper, but not as thick as coverstock.
Can I choose a different font from what is shown?
Possibly! If you see a font on a different item we offer, let us know which one and we will see if the swap is possible.
