Creating has always been, and will always be, a huge part of my life. For me, a life without creating would not be a life truly lived. In early 2012, I started Curious Bloom as a way to pursue that passion and turn it into a career.

All Curious Bloom products are handmade with love - because mass-produced, mass-marketed items can never compare to the quality and uniqueness of something that is handmade by a person doing what they love.  I am meticulous in my craftsmanship and strive for excellent customer service. When you support a handmade business, you not only get better quality - you support a dream.

I was a one-woman shop until my business grew beyond what I could do alone starting in 2018. Since then, I've hired a few friends as independent contractors to help with things like materials preparation, shipping, marketing and administrative tasks. Being able to give work-at-home employment to other local women, all of whom are also moms, is one of the best things about my business!

I live with my husband, two children, and a varying array of farm animals in beautiful Western Loudoun County, Virginia. Life is good!
