Announcement   The photo was a part of my workshop, mostly the clay space. I embarked on a huge cleaning and re-arranging in July - which caused extreme back pain that is even worse here in Sept. 2018. MRI on 9/14 -also our 38th anniversary! Now my shop is a dangerous, disorganized space. So disorganized I had to refund 2 sales as I just couldn’t find the items! I did get the non tarnishing copper wire from CreatingUnkamen.
Recent shop additions created with supplies from ‘The Crafty Bead’ and ‘CreatingUnkamen’ here on Etsy. Thanks!
SHIPPING: I will ship internationally if anyone thinks it’s worth it. The least amount I can find is $13.25 USD.

About

Weird but true!

I always wanted to be a professor, and was in grad school at the Ohio State University in Clinical Psychology. Then I began to get ill, and had to quit. It took several years to diagnose my problem - chronic pancreatitis due to a birth defect known as a pancreas divisum. I never did make it back to grad school, but fortunately my husband loves me enough to support me. Since then I have added several more chronic illnesses; life keeps on giving! I started making jewelry because I was very bored between and during hospitalizations. Also, I have many terrific nieces. And now Holly,my beautiful grand-niece!
I have one son, who is 22, and recently married, which gives me a beautiful daughter also. Hooray! We currently have only 2 cats, T’Pol and Melody. In December,of 2015, I suffered the loss of my dearest cat,Delenn. My giant Yorkie, Floyd, was suffering so much that he cried a good bit, so we had him put down in October,2017. He was almost 18. So, while my house is smoke free, it's not pet free. I try to keep them (and their hair!) out of my work, and clean it thoroughly before mailing, but I can't guarantee there will be no pet allergens.
I very much enjoy making jewelry for children and adults, and like to try steampunk and other eclectic areas. Needle felting and miniature making are great, also. My work is original and designed and made by me, unless otherwise specified. I try to make the children's jewelry with clay, acrylic, resin, etc, instead of glass, but cannot guarantee it's unbreakable. My Mom always said we could break anything. I do a little bit of everything- wire work,polymer,air-dry and resin clay, metal clay, resin collage and casting, miniatures, N and Z model trains and am trying to learn some basic metal smithing.
