I started creating jewelry for myself out of curiosity. Just to see if I could do it. And, much to my amazement, I could! And, I loved it. So I started making things for other people - family and friends, then I opened this shop and have made things for people all over the world! It's been an amazing journey.
I view making jewelry and other crafts as a sort of meditation. It keeps my hands and mind busy, it relieves stress, makes me happy, and will hopefully make other people happy too! I love working with metal, and found objects like buttons and skeleton keys, and I try to keep things simple, clean, and beautiful.
I thrive on making personalized and custom pieces, it's my absolute favorite part of doing what I do. I am more than happy to make something special for you or a loved one. Please send me a message for more information, or email me at Amber[at]CuriouslySappy[dot]com.

Refunds and Exchanges
I would hope this never happens, but if your item is defective, I would be happy to fix it or exchange it for you. The buyer is responsible for the shipping charge back to me (most packages ship First Class with Delivery Confirmation with the United States Postal Service for under $5.00). I will fix or replace the item and return it to you via USPS with Delivery Confirmation, no charge.

If you would like a complete refund for your purchase, please mail your item(s) back to me within 60 days of the purchase. After I receive the returned item(s), I will refund the cost of your item(s) plus the original cost of shipping the item(s) to you, via PayPal (or money order, if you paid by check or money order).
If you have any questions or concerns about the exchange and refund policy, please contact me via Message on Etsy, or you may e-mail me at Amber [!at] CuriouslySappy.com
Additional policies and FAQs
I do use a preserving wax called Renaissance Wax on metal jewelry to help protect the oxidization and prevent tarnish. However, this wax will not last forever, and you can expect your sterling silver and copper pieces to oxidize and develop a beautiful patina over time. This is a natural process and to be expected with metal pieces. Using jewelry cleaners can remove the tarnish, but it will also remove the richness of the patina. I recommend making a cleaning solution of white vinegar and a little bit of baking soda in a bowl. (Watch out! This will cause a chemical reaction - lots of bubbles, so make sure your cleaning dish is big enough to handle the overflow!) You can also use lemon juice instead of the vinegar. Making a paste with the baking soda (with water, vinegar, or lemon juice) and rubbing it on your piece, followed by a rinse in water, will also work.
My very favorite part of doing what I do is working with customers to create personalized and custom items. I am more than happy to make something special for you or a loved one. Please send me a message for more information.
