Handmade in London, and always made with 100% sustainable cotton; Curlettes are the sustainable plastic free way to get your curls.

I’m terrible with anything involving my hair, so it’ll take me a while to use them just right, but I love how comfy they are. They’ll come in hand plenty in the future anytime I need curls! I live in West London with my 2 daughters and partner, and when not making Curlettes I'm busy being a postgraduate student in Political Theory at The London School of Economics. A bit different but the creative outlet of Curlettes gives me the best balance between my creative and intellectual sides. I'm a self-confessed vintage style addict. I style my hair in a 1950s pageboy style everyday (well maybe not for a lazy day at home), wear vintage or vintage reproduction every day. I love the look, the feel and the glamour and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate it into modern living.

Frequently asked questions
Returns
Due to the nature of the product returns are only accepted if they are unused and in their original condition and within seven days of you receiving the order, unless faulty or there is the problem with the order. To return you must contact me within 7 days of you taking delivery of the order, the buyer is responsible for return postage unless there is a fault or other problem with the order in which case Curlettes will cover all postage costs. Refunds will only be given if the buyer has already contacted Curlettes before returning their order.
Custom orders made in specific colours, that have to be ordered especially, or sizes will be subject to a 50% restock fee, unless cancelled within 1 week of ordering.
Final Sale and Seconds Sales
Curlette seconds are clearly sold as seconds and are final sale, no returns are accepted. The seconds will be fit for use but maybe of a non-standard size, end of a particular colour batch or unsuitable for selling in a full set for other reasons, which will be specified clearly on the listing. The buyer is accepting the condition and acknowledging they are aware of the condition by purchasing Curlette seconds.
Care instructions
How to care for your Curlettes:
Don't pull the Curlette tightly when looping them. They will hold without the need to pull the entire unlooped end though. Pulling Curlettes too tightly will lead to them losing their shape quickly.
To clean your Curlettes, whether that be for freshness or because of a buildup of styling product, hand wash gently in a mild shampoo, baby shampoo is good. While damp use a finger to reshape the Curlette into it's original shape, just place it in the open end and mold the Curlette round your finger. Leave to dry naturally.
How to use your Curlettes
How to use:
1. Take a 1 inch section of your hair and comb through, place the Curlette at the end, with the hair next to the looped end, but not covering the loop.
2. Making sure the ends are neatly tucked in, roll the hair round the Curlette until you reach the scalp, the looped end will be closest to your head.
3. Taking the non-looped end - pull it through the loop to secure the Curlette.
4. Done!
