Announcement    Hi

Thank you for visiting my online shop. I do hope you find something you will love and cherish here.

Please read my listings carefully and examine the photos too.

I am always happy to provide more information if required.

All of my items are vintage. This means they are usually aged between the 1920s to 1980’s. I try to be as specific as i can where possible.

Vintage means of an age or an era of the 20th Century. Vintage does not mean antique.

All of the artwork on sale is true vintage mass market prints. Although collectable, they are not original priceless works of art.

I do not reproduce my items except handmade* items (see below). They are all original vintage from an era in the 20th Century.

*My handmade items are made repurposing/using only vintage fabrics.

I take great care in packaging my items, protecting them as much as possible for the journey. Although I cannot control what happens once they leave my home, I do my best to ensure it reaches you in one piece.

If you want your item sent in any special way then please contact me before you purchase to arrange this and I will let you know any extra charges.

I only buy in plastic bubble wrap and eco peanuts. Unfortunately biodegradable bubble wrap and cardboard is too expensive at present but Im hoping to use it once it becomes more affordable. I do recycle packaging when I can. This keeps costs down for customers.

Sometimes Friends and Family give me packaging to reuse eg poly peanuts which i sometimes mix in with the eco. I don’t like them but reusing is better than throwing them away.

I can combine postage on some items (not large amounts of crockery though). I'm happy to work with you to reduce postage and packing charges and costs but recommend that you pay as much as you can afford to protect your items. Best to be safe than sorry.

Finally, if you have purchased something from me and you are happy please leave a review. If you aren’t happy please get in touch first to see if we can sort it out. I’m very accommodating.

You can also find me on Instagram as Curly Tink.

Thanks for looking!

Peace 🕊

Shipping

I take great care in packaging my items, although I cannot control what happens once it leaves my home, If you want your item sent in any special way then please contact me before you purchase to arrange and I will let you know any extra charges.

I recommend that if your item is particularly delicate or valuable that you spend as much as possible on postage and packing to protect it. I will also do my best to ensure it is packed as professionally as possible. There is nothing more heartbreaking than receiving your item damaged or destroyed. I know this from personal experience and do not wish for you to experience it too.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for any delays due to customs either. Tracking does help when this occurs as your parcels location can be identified easily.

Christmas Shopping

My last dispatch date is December 12th for small parcel and parcel force UK delivery. You can upgrade to first class or special delivery if you wish but please get in touch first as I might be away for a few days at Christmas.

Anything posted after the 12th/13th December date may not arrive in time for Christmas unless you try Special Delivery.

I will be posting until Christmas eve and be open throughout Christmas and New Year for late purchases and gifts to yourself.

Additional policies and FAQs

All of my items are vintage and over 40 years old. This means they are used and aged and sometimes have nicks and knocks. I do my best to accurately describe my items so you are not disappointed.

Information I Collect

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information (this does not include direct access to your payment credentials, just that the order has been paid), and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

*as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
*when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;
*if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and
*as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

*Etsy - as this is the platform my website is hosted on, your information is on their database only to supply to myself in the case of a transaction
*Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
*Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.
*Compliance with laws. I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time periods: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
See this Seller Handbook article for a sample privacy policy you can customize for your shop.
