The picture doesn't do it justice-- the print is absolutely gorgeous in person. Bought for my boyfriend for our anniversary and he loves the hell out of it. Great, unique fan piece!

About

Illuminated Sand Worms and Butterfly Wings - A Winning Combination

Jill and Kristen work together in Tampa as professional "butterfly ladies" at the Museum of Science & Industry. It's an interesting job, sure, but it doesn't pay all that well, so Jill encouraged Kristen to make her amazing artwork available online in 2011.

The shop began with a focus on nature-themed jewelry and home accessories, but really hit its stride when Kristen created her first illuminated pop culture piece, featuring an illuminated sandworm and the Litany Against Fear from the classic novel Dune. She quickly added more pieces from pop culture, including Doctor Who and The Princess Bride.

Kristen is always looking for new inspiration, both from nature and her Netflix Watch Instantly list. Visit her blog, A Little Ink More or Less, to see more of her work. Our shop is happy to accept custom requests, and we invite you to visit often to see the latest creations.
