Looks like I need to lose more weight along my top Back side! 🤦🏻‍♀️Although this doesn't button all the way up, It just motivates me to lose more weight. Lol! It's a lovely dress that I could probably get away with wearing a jean jacket over in the meantime! So clean and crisp! Thank you!

As soon as this buyer contacted me with an issue, I offered a full refund if she wanted to send back the sweater. I also gave her an alternative of a partial $40 refund if she wanted to keep the sweater (it was $58 originally) and have the hole repaired. She chose to keep the sweater and take the partial refund. Since a full refund was also offered and declined, not sure why buyer remains unsatisfied.

Vintage clothing for the modern-day romantic ...

My love of vintage began as a high schooler in the early 1990s when I would take the bus over to the Haight to buy ' used clothes' in the thrift shops. Fast forward to 20 years later when I was laid off of my day job as a window dresser. A friend suggested I try selling some of my personal vintage collection on Etsy -- and from there Custard Heart Vintage was born. I run the shop out of my one bedroom apartment that sits high on a foggy hill in the Twin Peaks area of San Francisco.

I stock select pieces from the 1940s to the 1990s with an emphasis on the cheerful and colorful fashions of the 1960s.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

... and a big thank you to Miss Dorothy Parker for coming up with the shop's namesake (the short story, "the Custard Heart").

Where did the the name, "Custard Heart" come from?

Though I do like to bake, it's not a dessert. It's the name of a short story by Dorothy Parker. If you ever come across it, it's a great read!
