I love crytals, learnning about their different energies, the beauty of stones from the earth in raw and enhanced form as well as minmalist pieces of jewelry and clothing. I also love DIY jewelry and created DIY jewelry kits over the last decade plus.

Since starting on Etsy, I have slowly added other types of items to my shop. I love to sew, make jewelry, hairclips and bands, paint, crochet, photograph, work with wire and clay, plants and just about any other medium. My love of creating started as a child and has been with me throughout my life. I have degrees in botany, teaching, biology & more, so I have tried to blend my teaching into the jewelry kits. Bringing colors or other elements of nature into crafting is inspiring. I love comfortable, warm and beautiful clothing which I design and make or have made for me as I am trying to grow on Etsy. I offer myriad jewelry kits including everything you need to make whatever piece you choose. Kits are made from Swarovski Crystal, natural, semiprecious stones, Freshwater pearls, glass & more.

Over the years, I am now am offering one of a kind dyed and clothing I design and/or have made to order per my designs. Knit and, crocheted and sew pieces are specially designed for COMFORT and BEAUTY. I want myself and other to feel COMFORTABLE and PRETTY in whatever they are wearing!

About

Nature lover, crafting, textile & lapidary enthusiast, naturalist. Enjoy learning, sharing knowledge, creations and creating and reaching new goals.

As a child, I collected botanical specimens and pressed them to make beautiful framed pieces of artwork. I remember taking knitting lessons and sewing lessons at a very young age. My love for pressed botanicals and the outdoors led me to a degree in botany years later. In the meantime, I had boxes of fabric, ribbon, yarn, clay, beads...any craft item I could get my hands on in which I made everything from crazy looking pants in the 70's as a young girl to holiday ornaments, gorgeous bowls, vases, hair clips, jewelry, scarves, blankets, designer soaps and candles and just about anything else I could thing of.
Later as a young mother, then aunt and later after getting my teaching degree, I used my love for crafting to create fun projects with my son, nieces, nephews and students to make our time together more personal and my teaching more meaningful. We made everything from "fossils" baked overnight in a sawdust oven, to handmade frames, science war projects and basic ornaments and keepsakes. When I was married, my nieces and mother in law helped me with all of the flowers, invitations, gifts for the guests, deccorations for the venue and clothing for myself and my flower girls and bridesmaids for our wedding, creating an even stronger bond with loved ones. The time spent with my nieces, nephews, friends and students made preparing for my wedding and teaching concepts to my students all the more special. It is fun to see a piece out for the holidays that we made 15 years ago when my now grown nieces and nephews were small children.

Now I have tried just about every craft out there, or so it seems. I cycle through periods of jewelry making, sewing, cement work, botanical prints, painting, knitting and using other mediums as the mood takes me in new directions. It is a journey in fun and beauty as well as creating wonderful memories and sharing creations with others makes them so much more special.

A strong believer in natural health in addition to western medicine, I am open to many forms and methods of healing...If something cannot hurt, like healthy foods or healing crystals, why not use the power of nature to enrich our lives and health?

I love the thought of healing and positive energy through the 7 main chakras or energy channels in the body, and make many jewelry pieces including these lovely stones that have been used for many purposes in countless cultures over the centuries.

Beliefs about crystals are deep rooted in many cultures dating back to early cultures. The information is for general and educational purposes only. ATTN: All items purchashed 2/15-2/16/16 will be shipped on 2/17/16. Thank you!

Welcome! I have loved making things for as long as I can remember. I have made clothing, pillows, candles, soaps, mineral makeup, pottery, jewelry, handmade paper, children's crafts and much more. As a teacher, I used my love for hands-on projects to help teach concepts, spur interest and bond with my students, son, nieces and nephews over the years. I made almost everything for my wedding from the dresses (with some help), to the invitations, bouquets, jewelry and more (except our wedding rings). I love beautiful, comfortable jewelry, clothing, home goods, photography and many of my designs and items are inspired by nature. Maybe that is why I was a life science teacher. It was that or an art teacher! In a perfect world I could have done both AND made creations to sell on Etsy! I love the outdoors, natural materials and creating beautiful things! The clothing and jewelry I make or design and have made and offer is for beauty as well as comfort and fun! Since I cannot make everything I love, I have limited my offerings to mostly jewelry, beading kits, clothing and scarves. If time (and work space) permits, I will be adding more to my store! I may have to move to a larger space! My studio is chock full of materials gathered over many years. If I can make it look presentable, I'll take a photo and and it to this site! It seems as soon as I organize an area, I get inspired, and I have yarn, fabric or beads & findings all over my work space yet again! Thank you reading a little bit about me! I love to get to know my customers and have made some great online friends through the entire Etsy community of buyers and creative people! I'd love to participate in a live Etsy event together in CO!
