About

Expanding the realm of engraved elements!™

An awning can never tell the whole story, and thus is the case for our hidden gem, Custom Laser Engravers, located in the Dallas Design District. Founded in 2011 by mother/daughter team, Kay and Stephanie Spruill, we are no newcomer to the world of personalized luxury items and first-class customer service. Since 1998, we have been perfecting the art of engraving, monogramming, and hot stamping first at our gift shop in Fort Worth, and now as Custom Laser Engravers. Evolving into a company focused on personalization and customization only was a natural evolution!

What do we do?
We have both Fibermark and Co2 lasers that perform the shopping list of straightforward to difficult engraving tasks. We also have a UV printer, diamond bit rotary engraver, foil transfer equipment, embossing equipment, embroidery machine, vinyl cutting equipment, rhinestone application and the ability for color transfer to fabrics, thus offering every personalization and customization option imaginable.

Most importantly, we are in the business of transformation. We take materials, substrates and pre-made items, and add markings, cuttings or applications to customize them into something personal, unique and unforgettable. We work with an array of materials from leather to stone to industrial parts. Every move we make is based on your needs!

Artists bring their special designs to be transferred onto particular materials, such as a portrait of a loved one on a wooden guitar. Start-up companies bring concepts of products for evaluation regarding branding possibilities and prototypes of a finished product. Manufacturing companies send machine components for permanent marking. Individuals bring special heirlooms to engrave as legacy gifts. These are all items awaiting transformation exactly as the client envisions.

Intangibles are also an important part of what we do. There is always brainstorming that goes hand-in-hand with working with customers to bring a vision to life that will work flawlessly within the parameters of the machines and materials. Patience abounds as renditions evolve to perfection. Custom Laser Engravers takes pride in responding quickly to requests as well as providing timely and super high-quality results.

So behind the door and the awning is a complex business, based on personal interaction to provide services that create magic. It's a little like the elves who make the notoriously delicious cookies in the caverns of that tree - the world below the trunk is more than it seems!

Returns and exchange details
Because most of our items are either custom single items or are personalized, we ask that you make your selections carefully and review all options before placing your order. Please contact us with any questions about the product or to clarify monogramming questions before placing an order. We do consider all orders to be non-returnable final sales.
Payment
We accept both Direct Checkout and PayPal payments. We also accept Etsy gift cards. Because every one of our products are customized or personalized, they are immediately scheduled into production to meet shipping deadlines and may not be cancelled once placed.
Shipping
We generally ship USPS Priority, which provides insurance for up to $100 and a delivery confirmation notice. In cases of larger items, we will ship via USPS Parcel and will insure for the value. For items shipping in flat envelopes, we may ship via First Class Mail and will insure for the value. We no longer use UPS for shipping, as they are unreliable in reimbursements for damages during shipment, and transit times are too lengthy related to recent increases in shipping costs.

Note: If you would like additional insurance or a signed confirmation added to your order, please convo us prior to placing your order.

USPS Priority shows 1-3 days delivery, First Class Mail shows 2-5 days and Parcel shows 2-9 days to most locations, but it cannot be guaranteed in bad weather conditions or peak shipping times (holidays, etc).

Note: If you require expedited service to guarantee delivery, or additional insurance, please convo us prior to placing your order.

HOLIDAY INFORMATION: For Holiday 2018, our shipping schedules will be adjusted to accommodate our closing times: CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S - closed at 5 p.m. Texas time on Friday, December 21 and reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2018. The last day for regular Priority Mail shipments will be Tuesday December 18 and Express will be Thursday, December 20. Please keep in mind that normal shipping days in transit do not take into consideration the holiday volume, weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Should shipping/transport services adjust their shipping times to differ with ours, their schedules will prevail.

IMPORTANT!!!! Should there ever be any damage to your shipment, please notify us immediately via convo and include a photo of the item and the damaged packaging, as we would need that information for filing a claim on your behalf. Without immediate notification and photographic proof of damage, we are unable to file a claim on your behalf in order to either refund you for the damage or replace the item. You should also maintain the damaged item(s) as well as all packaging and packing materials for inspection by the transport company. Each shipping/transport service has different rules on inspections, and we will advise you what is required, when we have filed the claim for you.

Thank you!
Additional policies and FAQs
For custom construction orders, we may be required to order supplies in minimum quantities to construct those items. In those cases, we will also require a minimum order from the client for that custom constructed item. Each custom order minimum will be based on the materials required.

While most of our products for sale are items that we personalize, from time to time, we will offer for sale the excess supplies that were used in the construction of a special order project.

Custom and personalized orders

Color and placement of personalization shown is for example only and may reflect custom engraving instead of fonts depicted on the font photo. Photos may also consist of overlays to give perspective. Results and locations vary depending on your chosen font style, material of the item and your order directive.

We generally suggest engraving type and placement for each product in the listing description. Unless you indicate differently in the “Notes” section of your order, the engraving will be done as described. We do, however, confirm the engraving via convo.

We take care to ensure our customers’ products and engravings are of the highest quality when they leave our facility! We photograph each item before shipping for quality assurance.
