How are your LP records rated for condition?

I have decided not to use the established VJM rating system, which addresses the specific playback sound quality of a record and could only be used by playing a record in it’s entirety. This is not very practical and to do this would add additional wear and tear. In lieu of that, I am rating these records based on a visual inspection of the record. I use the the following system for rating each record:
Excellent - Like new with little or no scratches. Should play great.
Good – Some scratches but likely to play with only some degradation in sound quality and most likely no skipping.
Fair – Multiple scratches and scuffs. Record is still playable but may need some restoration.

Inner sleeves are not included for most of my records.

Automatic Shipping Insurance

Shipments sent by USPS Priority Mail are automatically insured for up to $50.00. Shipments sent by USPS Priority Mail Express are automatically insured for up to $50.00. In most cases, 1st Class and Standard shipping are not insured.

Please do not discard the packaging on damaged shipments. If you receive a damaged item please take the following pictures and send them to me:

1. Photos that clearly show the extent of damage of the packaging and the contents
2. Photo of the outer packaging showing the names and addresses of the sender and the addressee and the label showing that the article was sent by Priority Mail.

Refunds will be made after I receive the appropriate photos.
