Mein Name ist Cynthia Cantlie und ich bin die Besitzerin/Designerin von Cynfully Knotty.

Wie kam es zu CYNFULLY KNOTTY?
Ende 2018 habe ich eine Liste mit Dingen erstellt, die ich unbedingt erreichen wollte, für die ich aber nie die Zeit hatte. Eines der Dinge auf dieser Liste war die Gründung eines Handwerksunternehmens. Aber was könnte ich machen? Ich bat meine Tochter um Rat und Inspiration ... und meine Tochter schlug Makramee vor. MAKRAMEE...natürlich! Ich hatte in den 70er-Jahren Makramee-Pflanzenhänger und Eulen angefertigt und es hat mir wirklich Spaß gemacht (oh oh, verrät mein Alter). Außerdem erlebte Makramee ein großes Comeback. Ich rannte zum nächsten Buchladen, kaufte ein Buch über Makramee und begann mit dem Basteln. Seitdem habe ich nicht mehr zurückgeschaut. Ich denke immer darüber nach, was ich aus Seilen machen kann. Kann ich dazu Makramee hinzufügen? Oder kann ich das auch mit Makramee machen? Oh, die Möglichkeiten!

HOW DID CYNFULLY KNOTTY GET STARTED?
In late 2018, I made a list of things that I really wanted to accomplish, but that I never had the time to do. One of the things on that list was starting a handcrafted business. But what could I make? I looked to my daughter for advice and inspiration...and my daughter suggested macrame. MACRAME...of course! I had made macrame plant hangers and owls back in the '70's, and really enjoyed it (oh oh, giving away my age). Plus, macrame was making a huge come back. I ran to the nearest book store, bought a book about macrame, and started creating. I haven't looked back since. I am always thinking about what I can make out of rope...can I add macrame to that? or can I make that using macrame? Oh, the possibilities!
