This ring is such a find! I love the colors, and it’s extremely dainty! My favorite! I have never seen all three stones in the same ring before, (old mine cut diamond, pearl and coral! This 1881 gem is my new favorite! Shipping was fast and I just found out it’s worth just a bit more than I paid! They are truly reasonable with their pricing! I have another ring on layaway, cannot wait for that one too! Thank you!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders

You can feel confident in buying online. We offer returns and refunds at Cypress Creek so you can shop without worry.

Before purchase, please understand that you are buying a used, uncleaned treasure from the past. Please read the descriptions carefully, examine the photos, and email me if you have any questions. Merchandise is sold "as is". Items may have some degree of wear and tear and discoloration; only significant blemishes or flaws are listed. All measurements provided are close approximates. We enlarge the photos for detail so consult the measurements in your listing. All jewelry will look larger in the photos than in real life.

If you would like to return your item, you must contact us within 3 days of tracked delivery to receive a full refund. The return tracking number must be dated within 7 days of delivery to you. This means 7 days from tracked delivery, not from when you went and picked it up from the post office. If you do not contact us by the 3rd day, or if you take longer than 7 days to postmark your return, a 15% restocking fee will be subtracted from your refund.

Upon a safe return of the original purchased item, you will be refunded for your sales price within 3 business days. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

Any custom or repair work done to a piece (sizing, appraisals, earring conversion, etc.) upon purchase cannot be returned or cancelled. Any ring that has been sized or altered is not eligible for a return.

Layaway, Custom Orders, and Appraisals are non-refundable.
We accept major credit cards through Etsy's credit card processing as well as PayPal payments. We also accept cash in hand by picking up in person.


We offer a layaway program for our customers. I recommend that clients consider using a credit card or applying for credit through PayPal rather than using layaway. You may wish to see your jewelry in real life before committing to a non-refundable sale. Layaway refers to any deposit received separate from the total amount of a store item in order to hold the item. It also refers to any form of, "Payment Plan," "Installment Plan," or "Layby Plan." PayPal credit is a great way to pay for your item over time. As of this writing, they offer up to 18 months to pay without interest.

Layaway plans are available. Since we are an LLC jeweler, we require that you sign an agreement for layaway in keeping with Federal Trade Commission requirements. This protects you by disclosing all terms in the online trade environment. Once we receive your signed agreement, we then create the listing with your payment schedule so you can check out.

Items $400 and over, up to 6 months

New Buyers making a large purchase:
Call your bank or credit card company directly and verify the amount before you check out. Etsy can hold payment up to three business days. You can also take these steps:

You may also receive an email from Etsy requiring a photo I.D. for larger purchases if you are a first time buyer. Etsy is just being careful to protect us all from fraud.

Handling time is usually a day but can take up to 3 before shipment. Upon shipment, customers receive an email with tracking information for their purchase from Etsy. If you wish to purchase Insurance or Express Overnight, those options are available as additional purchases at checkout. If you are having a ring sized by our jeweler, please allow an extra 2-7 days before shipping. We do not guarantee postal shipping times. Once the package scans at the post office, the USPS is responsible for your item. If you should experience a shipping problem, you will contact the USPS and provide your tracking number on their website.


Shipping will be USPS Priority for most jewelry items with first class for some of our other pieces such as ring boxes. We have our shipment countries set to the major default countries on Etsy. If your country is not on the list, please contact Merrick via convo. We are willing to make shipping exception to some locations after speaking with you about your personal address and ability to accept FedEx shipments. We will not ship via USPS to countries not on the list.

The customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, associated with Customs so consider this in your final cost for the jewelry you are purchasing. If you're interested in getting an estimate on what the duties will be on a certain item, we recommend the website to help you estimate this additional cost.

If we ship an item to you, and you refuse shipment, you are still responsible for the Customs fees that we end up paying. This will be deducted from your refund.

We would like to get your package to you as soon as possible, but please be aware that all Custom's clearance events are different, and we cannot guarantee that your package will reach you by a certain date. I ship as soon as you have purchased your parcel but I am not responsible for package at the postal service in the USA or in other countries once I have dropped it off.

Customs may delay clearance of your item. Customs may also require you to pick your item up and it can not be delivered to your door. It differs on a case to case basis. We will do everything we can on our end (i.e. making sure item descriptions are clear for declarations) to facilitate the process.

Non-delivery of a parcel is extremely rare. In the event that USA carrier or the postal carrier of another country fail to deliver a package, Cypress Creek is not responsible for the event, and as such, refunds are not be honored unless you purchase shipping insurance at checkout. We recommend upgrading to FedEx for security of highly-valued items.
Additional policies and FAQs
DISCLAIMER ABOUT VINTAGE JEWELRY: Vintage items have been used and show their age in a variety of ways. These previously owned items can have imperfections, scratches, chips, cracks, glue residue, repairs, etc. We do not clean a vintage or antique piece, as many collectors expect patina. Other than a light once over, I leave vintage jewelry in *as found* condition. I try my best to note any condition issues, but if I miss something, and it bothers you, please bring it to my attention. Please be aware that when it comes to antique and estate items, we describe each piece as accurately as possible. However, we cannot possibly be aware of every tiny flaw or scratch. These pieces are pre-worn and therefore, will have signs of age or wear. Also, when it comes to antique or vintage watches, they usually need to be cleaned or serviced and we cannot guarantee their accuracy. Sometimes after shipping they may not work as well and may need a cleaning or adjustment.

Cypress Creek does not offer a warranty for any vintage, antique, and estate pieces. We provide explicit descriptions of all of our pieces. There is a risk that an item needs repair or servicing at the time of your purchase because we do not have the jeweler inspect items when they come in. We take a look with loupe and will describe any defects we see in the listings. All of our pieces are sold "AS IS." This includes, but is not limited to, common defects in old jewelry such as, breaking necklace and bracelet clasps, flip ring hinges, lost stones in a ring. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle. Soft stones such as opals are not a good choice for an engagement ring if it will be subjected to daily hard wear. Antique accent diamonds were set in a more delicate setting and can be lost if your ring is knocked on furniture, etc. Take antique jewelry off when doing any housework. We recommend having a jeweler inspect and service your item before the one week return time frame. We recommend regular check ups every 6 months with your local jeweler to always ensure that stones are secure. When you purchase antique jewelry, keep in mind that repairs and replacements can be part of the journey in ownership.

Ring sizing is a close approximate and can vary based on the type of shank or your finger.

Dates of all pieces are estimations based upon information received with the piece, or are based upon the characteristics and style of a particular piece. We cannot guarantee that antique and estate pieces have not been altered at some point. If we know the age of a piece, we date it - if not, we can only estimate. Many of our pieces come from antique/estate auctions and sometimes the age is indicated, but many times it is not. Estimations of sizes, measurements, weights are approximations.

As a higher-volume seller, we only accept reservations with a non-refundable deposit to support an equitable shopping experience for clients across our various shopping forums. Deposit to hold is good for 7 days. On the 8th calendar day, not business day, the item returns to active listing after 10PM Central Time Zone. Your deposit is non-refundable but can be used toward Cypress Creek store credit.

We get a lot of requests for tanzanite. We will not typically carry tanzanite pieces because the gem was not discovered until 1967. Most of the jewelry we find with tanzanite are modern settings and not antique.

Do you accept returns?

Returns are accepted. You must contact us within 3 days to let us know you will be returning. Items must be shipped back in original condition within 7 days of receiving the item for a full refund, minus shipping costs. 

Payment Plan, Layaway Deposits, Sized Rings, Partial Payments, Custom Work Deposits, and Custom Designed pieces are considered custom work, and as such are non-refundable, and non-transferable. All such sales are final. Unauthorized returns received to our shop without contacting us first, or post-marked after the 7th day will incur a 15% restocking fee.

Do you offer Layaway Payment Plans?

Yes, simply send a convo indicating how many months up to a maximum of 6 you would like to take to pay. We will send you a payment contract to sign, scan, and return to convo. We will divide your payments evenly over the course of those months.

Do you Resize Rings?

Many rings can be resized. You must contact us first to make sure that the ring you like can be resized to your specification. Here is the link with pricing information.
