I am a mom of two micro-premie survivors that overcame many obstacles in life. One of my twins ended up with profound hearing loss at the age of 8 months. We started with hearing aides at 9 months to get her ready for cochlear implants! At the age of 13 months she got her first implant and we were exciting for what the future had in store for her! After activation we needed to find a solution to keep her processors on her tiny ears without falling off! I’ve tried a ton of different retention options but none seemed to work for my sensory-seeking toddler! Other bands were either uncomfortable or ended up damaging her hair, which led me to the super soft jersey cotton that I use in my bands! She now keeps her processors on all day with no issues! We’ve been to Disney and have ridden rollercoasters and the braided headbands did their job and did not fall off! I wanted to share these amazing bands with you and I hope you l, your infant, toddler, or child will love them as much as we do! Being a special needs mom I had to make the decision to be a full time stay at home mama so I had to find ways to support my family! I’m excited to see what DEAFinitelyCochlear has in store I have huge plans for this shop and can’t wait to take you on this journey!
