Announcement   My dear, devoted customers: I had some shocking news the week of my move. The business transfer fell through, and ten boxes of supplies were back on my doorstep. A few months earlier I would have had some other connections to ask, indeed ones better prepared for cosmetic production, but I really believed in the mission of this particular company and was training the woman who'd be in charge of the DJ line. As I am now too ill to even make deodorant up for myself, much less to train someone else, and am housebound in an area where I know no one, I have no clue when and how deodorant production will resume. This has me heartbroken, in no small part because I feel I have let down many who depended on me. I tried my best to ensure production would continue sooner. Many of you have been more than customers--cheerleaders, friends, and even eager beaver connection makers who wanted to use your contacts to make the business expand in a big way. I only wish it could. I'm so sorry.

About

Deodorants, Essential Oil Blends & Diaper Rash Treatments

My products are the result of many hours of research and many test batches. You will not find these floating around as DIY formulations because I strove to make something more effective, gentle, and luxe than any of the recipes I could find. After testing and then selling the deodorants and diapersticks for a year on a crunchy forum, I expanded to etsy.

*My cloth diaper using diaperstick testers indicated that my diaper rash treatment is CD safe (should not require stripping).

*I've had hyperhydrosis and know what it is like to constantly have to worry about show through and smell. IME, and that of many others, my deodorant *works* and also wicks well. Many people tell me they have gone through dozens of natural dedorants that were ineffective and harsh on their skin before finding mine. And many wives have coaxed their non-natural-loving husbands into giving this a go with remarkable results. Some of my customers were on prescription antiperspirant before finding my deodorant. Not a few people have indicated that they find my deodorant more effective than deodorants like Degree and Secret Clinical.

*My deodorants contain 98+-100% organic (or non-agricultural; i.e., zinc oxide & baking soda) ingredients and no aluminums, no alums, no parabens, no phalates, no artificial scents, and no propylene glycol.

*The naturally extracted form of baking soda I use is allergy safe for many people who find that baking soda deodorants give them a rash.

*I strive to use organic or wildcrafted essential oils when possible. My primary sources for essential oils have been long favored by natural perfumers, aromatherapists, and alternative health practioners. They are often the products of artisans who have been in the business for decades.

*My gentle diaper rash treatments also make a great foot deodorant and balm for various complaints.

*Although they are currently only available on a sporadic basis, I am developing a small line beyond deodorants and diapersticks that includes aromatherapy inhalers, essential oil and herbal roll ons, and intensive hand and body butter.

*I pay attention to long-standing safety guidelines for essential oils. It has suddenly become very popular to use essential oils undiluted (which is almost never considered safe, with exceptions for oils like lavender and cape chamomile for acute needs) and to slather on essential oils indiscriminately that have contraindications, a high likelihood of causing skin allergies, or a potential to accumulate in the liver. Pure and natural does not equal safe. Even if it seems safe at first, you can develop irreversible sensitivities or otherwise overload your body. I advise rotating the oils you are exposed to in the case of any frequent, topical application. And I try to provide warnings regarding common contraindications. For instance, I do not recommend my Sage Advice Super or Fresh Wonder Super deodorant scents for pregnant, nursing, or epileptic persons due to the salvia officinalis oil. (There are two other scents suitable for such persons instead.) Always consult your doctor before using new products if you have are pregnant or have a medical condition.

Payment
You may pay via Paypal or Etsy Direct Checkout. You need to pay upon purchase. Due to the nature of my products, I do not offer returns. I am usually very quick to package items and put them out for shipping. Once they're out, that's it. So if you find you made an error and want to cancel or re-checkout with another item added for combined shipping, (1) send me a note immediately so that I do not print out a shipping label, and (2) follow the etsy instructions for cancelling your order.
Shipping
I have been adding countries to my shipping on an individual basis when customers request it. I am open to adding more countries. However, there are many countries that have extra rules about the import of personal care products and extra taxes for the buyer. My knowledge is limited, and the buyer will be responsible for issues on their end. Due to the very high cost of global insured mail, I have been mailing my international packages first class.
Additional policies and FAQs
I've had multiple requests regarding the wholesale purchase of my products for resale. I so appreciate your faith in my products! But the sad truth is that I actually make so little on each product (and due to new product development this year, may not even break even) that the wholesale costs would not be less than my current pricing. Also it is very important to me that my deodorants sell within 4 months of manufacture for maximum freshness, and it is harder for a re-seller to guarantee that. That said, if you are still interested in re-sale of products (with a sticker directing them to my facebook page attached to the top), we can talk. A separate listing could be made for you, and after payment, I could manufacture the agreed upon amount.
