D. Liles Collection comenzó con las intenciones más simples. En ese momento, era subdirectora de relaciones con exalumnos en mi Alma Mater, cuando comencé a diseñar y confeccionar vestidos de encaje de inspiración vintage para mis hijas pequeñas y bebés. Un estilo que no era fácil de encontrar y muy caro. Fue muy divertido, hice varios y bajo la sugerencia de amigos, comencé a hacer vestidos para sus hijas. Esos primeros diseños se hicieron con retazos de tela y encajes recuperados de ropa vieja. Me siento muy honrada por esos primeros diseños de vestidos, ¡porque acababa de empezar a coser y no tenía ni la más mínima idea de negocio!
Empecé mi negocio en Etsy en 2013 y en 2015 me convertí en una marca. He producido más de 80,000 vestidos en los últimos 10 años, amo mi trabajo, esto es para lo que fui creada. Con mucho, mi parte favorita del diseño es la alegría que mis vestidos brindan a mis clientes. Estoy muy agradecida con mis fieles clientes, que me han permitido ganarme la vida con algo que amo tanto. Es mi pasión que mis vestidos sean amados y usados a fondo.
Colección D. Liles, se trata de bellas texturas, tules, encajes y cuidados detalles. Todos nuestros diseños son aptos para niños (cintura elástica, forros de algodón y tul suave) y están confeccionados con hermosos tejidos de alta calidad. Ya sea que se trate de un vestido alto y bajo de encaje, mangas abullonadas con volantes o un vestido de tul hasta la rodilla, nuestro objetivo es crear hermosos vestidos para que las niñas de todas las edades se sientan mimadas y especiales.
D. Liles Collection began with the simplest intentions. At the time, I was an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at my Alma Mater, when I began designing and making vintage-inspired lace dresses for my toddler and infant daughters. A style that was not easy to find and very expensive. It was so much fun, I made several and under the prompting of friends, I began making their daughters dresses. Those first few designs were made from scraps of fabric and reclaimed lace from old clothing. I am so humbled by those earliest dress designs, because I had just started sewing and didn’t have the slightest bit of business savvy!
I started my business on Etsy in 2013 and in 2015, I became a brand. I have produced over 80,000 dresses in the last 10 years, I love my job, this is what I was created to do. By far my favorite part of designing is the joy my dresses bring to my customers. I am so thankful to my loyal customers, who have enabled me to make a living out of something I love so much. It is my passion that my dresses are dearly loved and thoroughly worn.
D. Liles Collection, is about beautiful textures, tulle, lace and careful details. All of our designs are child friendly (elastic waist, cotton liners and soft tulle) and made with high, quality beautiful fabrics. Whether it’s a lace high-low dress, ruffled puff sleeves, or a knee length tulle dress our aim is to create gorgeous dresses girls of all ages feel pampered and special!
