My Seiko journey started with an inheritance; my grandfather's 1978 SQ 100, a watch given to me so that I could wear it, and wear it I did. After many years, I realized it needed a service, but no one to give it one. As a tinkerer, I'd always needed to know how things work, so I decided to take it on myself. That instinct led me to the workbench, and eventually, DSMWatchCo.
It's my goal to ensure that the people who share my experience — those with an SKX, a Turtle, an Alpinist sitting in the back of a drawer — have somewhere to turn when it needs work. These watches are handed down as first watches for generations because they just keep running, especially when someone takes the time to care for them.
I'm here to be the someone I was looking for at the start of my own journey.
