Colors are vibrant and beautiful. Case is a little bit slippery (I’m used to an otterbox defender) but not too bad. Fits my 8+ perfectly.

My name is Christopher Beikmann. I'm a full time artist and accessory designer. I create digital collage art from my own photography mixing photo elements from my own garden and my numerous global travels into unique compositions using PhotoShop, a scanner and a digital tablet for digital painting and illustration.

I started making and selling prints of my artwork over 10 years ago through my etsy gallery http://www.fusionidol.etsy.com . Overtime I expanded into electronic accessories like iPhone cases, skins , laptop bags, even handbags and tile. Initially I was outsourcing the production - but being the alchemist that I am - I wanted to learn to make them myself. I reinvested my profits from my artwork to make it happen and spent hours studying sublimation transfer technology. Soon I had a studio filled with computers, heat presses, ovens, specialty printers and ink formulations that allowed me to become my own designer and manufacturer - and that's how da Vinci Case was born.

I've personally designed every piece of artwork in my shop. If you see my art for sale by other case makers besides Da Vinci Case, Fusion Idol or one of my licensed partners below - please let me know. Copyright infringement is rampant, it's against the law and it makes the struggle to be a full time artist even more difficult.

I do my very best to offer excellent customer service. Most of my cases ship within two business days. All domestic US orders are shipped with tracking numbers as well.

All cases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days.

Returns and exchanges
I might be a small artisan case seller - but I do try really hard to make our customer service, return and exchange policy friendly and easy.

RETURNS / EXCHANGES (30 days) - All returns must be authorized.

I allow refunds and exchanges within 30 days from the date purchased for all case styles. As each case is made one at a time with the design and phone model chosen by the customer. Reselling your exact case model and chosen design can be very difficult. For this reason a RESTOCKING FEE WILL APPLY. Restocking fees vary between 20-50% depending on the model and design chosen. Custom ordered cases may be returned only for defect.

You must contact me in advance to authorize a return. Contact me here on etsy or by emailing sales @ davincicase.com and I'll send you the information for your return or exchange. Do not send "return to sender" via the post office. You must contact me in advance before returning an item and it must be returned with tracking / delivery confirmation services. All returns / exchanges must be completed inside the 30 day window from the original purchase date.

WARRANTY (60 day)

All phone cases we sell have 60 day replacement warranty. If a case is truly "defective" you'll know it within the first two months. If you've got problem with your case during this time - contact us here on etsy or by emailing sales [!at] davincicase.com. I will generally request a picture of the defect or problem and may ask a few questions to better help our quality control, but in most cases there's no need to send the case back. We'll get you taken care of.

REFUNDS

Any refunds made from returns will be made directly to the account that was used to make the original payment (credit card / PayPal etc). Refunds are initiated within 7 business days of receiving the return and are made for the original purchase price of the case minus restocking fees.

I'm not the big box store. Etsy.com is a community of artists and crafters. Items here are unique and not mass produced. I design every case in my small studio in Tijeras, New Mexico USA. When you buy from artisans and crafters on etsy:

ETSY ETIQUETTE

The following is considered VERY bad Etsy etiquette:

- Marking an envelope return to sender because you changed your mind.
- Returning an item to the seller with no advance notice, no note of explanation in the package or any communication at all. Here at Da Vinci Case - I don't have a problem with returns - but please contact me in advance and let me know you're returning it.
- Leaving negative or neutral feedback about a damaged / defective item without contacting the etsy seller first to let them know your item was damaged shipment or defective. Again - I'm not the box store and there's no reason to be mean.
- Leaving negative or neutral feedback because you ordered the wrong case model for your phone or didn't read the listing.
- Leaving negative feedback because you didn't return your case within 30 days and couldn't get a refund. If you can't make 30 days work - there is no helping you.
- Leaving negative feedback because you were charged a restocking fee - every case is custom made to the chosen model and design. Again - I'm not Wal Mart.
- Leaving negative feedback or sending the etsy seller nasty messages because you had to pay import taxes on your item. This is always the buyers responsibility - please familiarize yourself with your local laws on import duties / VAT taxes before ordering items from outside your own country.
- Buying a product with the intention of duplicating it or to review as competition and then returning it.

LET'S ALL BE ADULTS - and take responsibility for our own actions and mistakes.
Payment
I accept credit card payments through Etsy and payments through Paypal. Please note - if you pay via e-check through Paypal, this will delay the shipping of your case as it generally takes 5 days to clear.
Shipping
PLEASE PLEASE... DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS & PHONE MODEL ORDERED. Most changes are no problem if made within the first 4 hours after the case is ordered. Contrary to belief many misaddressed items are never returned and "return to sender" items are often never returned.

I do my best to ship all items in 2-3 business days via first class USPS. Holiday orders may take longer. All buyers should receive an order confirmation from etsy and a shipping confirmation in their email. You will also have access to your order information by logging into your etsy.com account.

I try to be green and manage all transactions electronically, so no receipt will be included with orders. Receipts are always sent via email. Should you need to return or exchange anything, just contact me in advance here on etsy or via sales [!at] davincicase.com.

USA Orders - a tracking link will be provided for all domestic US shipments via Stamps.com to the email address provided at checkout. All shipments are sent first class USPS and most arrive in 3-7 days of being shipped.

CANADA Orders - A customs number will be provided via Stamps.com to the email address provided at checkout. This number will track the package to it's last US destination before it crosses into Canada. Once the package is the possession of Canada Post, no further tracking updates will be displayed until delivery. Items shipped to Canada from the US can arrive in a week or in a month. Canada Post often holds a high number of international packages at the border for security inspection. This can unfortunately delay your package for lengthy periods of time. Your understanding and patience is much appreciated.

INTERNATIONAL Orders
I do ship worldwide via first class international post. Most cases arrive in 2-4 weeks depending on the country. Premium services with signature tracking like Fed Ex or UPS are available upon request, but usually cost more than 3x the price of the actual case.

Tracking detail can vary by country. Each country has their own security inspection process for international mail which can take several weeks. Please be patient, but you must report non deliver inside of 30 days from the date of order.

INTERNATIONAL Taxes (VAT)
Every country has different rules when it comes to taxing imported items. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any required import taxes or duties that may be assessed on the items ordered. This will usually be collected by your postal service if it applies. Most European and UK destinations will charge a VAT tax on imports. Please familiarize yourself with your local tax laws before ordering so that there are no surprises. Leaving bad feedback for any etsy seller just because you didn't do your homework and had to pay your local import taxes on your purchase is EXTREMELY BAD KARMA.

ALL BUYERS

USA Buyers - if your case has not arrived after 2 weeks - please contact us immediately.

International Buyers - You must report non-delivery inside of 30 days - If it has been three weeks, contact me immediately here on etsy or at chris [!at] davincicase.com

I do license some of my original artwork for commercial / merchandise / business use.

COPYRIGHT

All of my original artwork is copyright protected. Please do not download my images for your personal or business use without permission. I have taken legal remedy in the past when my artwork has been used without permission. Copyright infringement is VERY bad karma.

If you find any of my artwork that you suspect may be used illegally - please let me know. My customers / art fans have been a big help in stopping art piracy.
