Daffodil Doll Clothes

I started sewing doll clothes when I was 12 shortly after receiving my first American Girl doll. When I was in high school my mom encouraged me to start selling my doll clothes at craft shows. It is something I have done as a hobby/small business ever since. In addition to craft shows I have sold on a few different sites online. In August of 2014 I opened my shop here on Etsy. Over 25 years after making my first doll clothes I still love what I do and find it to be a fun and rewarding business.

My mom is the one who taught me to sew and passed her love of sewing on to me. My mom passed away several years ago from breast cancer. Her favorite flowers were daffodils so I chose my shop name in her memory.

My mom taught me to sew when I was in elementary school. My first sewing project was a skirt for a 4-H fair project. I started sewing doll clothes when I was 12 or 13. When I was in high school my mom encouraged me to start making and selling doll clothes at craft shows.

Now over 25 years later I am a homeschool mom to five amazing children. It is a busy life but with my "spare time" I still love creating clothes and accessories for dolls.

My mom taught me to sew and inspired me to start selling my creations. Several years ago she passed away from breast cancer and my shop is named in memory of her favorite flower.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Customer satisfaction is very important to me so please contact me if there is ever a problem with something you purchase from me. I try my best to accurately represent my products and provide quality workmanship but I am human and I do make mistakes and over look things despite my best efforts.

If you are unhappy with an item please contact me withing 7 calendar days of receiving the item for a refund of the purchase price minus shipping. The item must be shipped back to me within 14 calendar days of delivery. I must receive the item in the original condition that it was shipped in order to issue the refund. Buyer pays return shipping. Refund will be issued once I receive the item.

If there is a defect or the item is damaged upon delivery please take pictures immediately of the condition of the item and the packaging and sent them to me within 48 hours of delivery. I cannot issue a refund until I have received the pictures. Depending on the situation I may required the item be returned to me before a refund can be issued.
Payment
Orders shipped to Michigan will be charged a 6% sales tax
Shipping
I ship packages first class or priority mail (depending on the weight of the package). All packages have tracking numbers for delivery confirmation purposes. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for the Post Office to delivery an item before contacting me regarding refunds for lost packages.

Once a package is marked as delivered by the Post Office I am no longer responsible for it. Please contact your local Post Office with questions regarding packages marked delivered that you have not received.

I only include domestic invoices upon request. I do include them in international packages in case they are opened for custom inspection. For international orders customs fees or taxes are the buyer's responsibility. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
