About DaisyMayEssentials
-
This is Star, the newest addition to our family.
-
This is Daisy May, Gracie Ann and Billy.
Our Story...
We bought a small acreage in a small town in Anamosa Ia. If anyone has heard of Grant Wood Country, that is where we are.
We live on top of a hill and have horses. Our pastures have so many wild rose bushes, We thought if we got some goats, they would eat the wild roses, take care of the weeds in our pasture and give our horses great grass.
Well, a friend of mine took us out to buy these 2 goats, a male and a female, which we named Billy and Daisy May. We had no idea, but they told me she still had some milk from when she kidded in the spring.
I went on YouTube and learned how to milk a goat. Little did I know, where that would take us. We now use only goats milk to drink, cook and make our products. We bought another goat so we could have more milk in the spring, her name is Gracie Ann. We have since added to our family, Gracie had a baby Feb. 23rd, a little girl named Star. We are expecting another baby within the next couple of weeks and are very excited.
So many changes since we opened our Etsy shop. We now are the proud owners of 21 goats. Yes, I said 21. These goats are due to having babies each spring. Our business has grown and now have enough milk to continue to make our great products.
We have added products, taken a couple away for now. We are always striving to be the best we can. We have added a line of Equine products that have been well received along with some other new products.
We have worked very hard to customize our formulas, picked the finest carrier oils and butters for our products and make sure that our products are chemical free.
We believe you will be so happy with our products, we offer a 100% money back guarantee. We also are happy to let everyone know we offer free shipping.
My Mom and I make all our product in small batches. I continue to make all our products in small batches, but my Mom died August 15, 2015. I miss her everyday but I know her hopes and dreams were in this little company that the two of us started. She is looking down on me, encouraging me to keep going.
We are very involved with our family and our 11 grandchildren. We do have another grandchild due to join us in September, a little boy. We are getting excited to meet this little fellow.
We are so blessed to have this opportunity to bring wonderful products at a fair price to everyone. Our hope is that anyone can afford to use products with the best oils and butters and give you that wonderful soft, silky feeling we are all wanting.
Hopeing you enjoy our products.
