Midnyght Inspiration

Hi there!

Thank you for stopping by Dakota Midnyght Art! (The number one question I get is “why the shop name?” I’ll answer that right here; it’s a play on my last name and the fact that I was born exactly at midnight.)

I’m an artist, writer and stay at home mom to two wonderful little boys. After a 10 year hiatus, I began drawing again in 2012 - and with a lot of urging and support from family and friends - opened this Etsy shop. I continue to be amazed by the comments and encouragement I receive and I appreciate it more than I can say.

The illustrations you’ll find here are products of each flight of fancy that hits me. I draw inspiration from the imaginations of my little boys, the amazing world around me, and pure fantasy!

I believe strongly in supporting indie artists and local businesses because it supports local economies and actual people. When you purchase something here, you are supporting a little family in Montana, but it also trickles down to other artisans, local businesses and area farmers.
