Announcement   Original rock and gemstone jewelry, lampwork glass, jewelry supplies, plus interesting vintage items have been added to my shop!

I offer large and small format original paintings in watercolor, oil, and acrylic.

I enjoy painting on silk scarves, using silk dyes and steaming the scarves to set the color. Some of my scarves have been painted using batik-style techniques. Other scarves are spot dyed to create fun variations in color and twisted so that they crinkle. Scarves come with a laundry care card.

My discounted picture frames that I offer are made by me from excess moulding from my custom framing brick and mortar business. I offer standard sizes up to 11 x 14 in all kinds of profiles, colors and finishes. The backs of frames are expertly detailed so that they look good too. PLEASE NOTE- ANY CUSTOM SIZE ORDERS WILL BE FOR REGULAR RETAIL PRICES. Just convo for quotes.

I offer discounted hand-cut mats in standard sizes- also recycling excess mat board from my custom framing business. Please note that any custom order requests would be at REGULAR RETAIL PRICES - just convo for quotes.

Thanks for shopping!

I adore this shop! Such wonderful artist 👨‍🎤 designs, Lampwork Headpins that make it nearly impossible to buy just one set. I am excited about my purchase and creating an OOAK design for my jewelry designs. Soon to be in my shop with this artist listed. Have fun choosing! A+++++++++

About

Being creative is something you can do all your life.

I have enjoyed drawing since I was a kid. As an adult, I began making greeting cards for my family and friends. That grew into larger paintings and then making my own custom frames to put my artwork in. I also worked in the batik medium and discovered silk scarves. I really enjoy using my painting techniques on the silk.

Now I have a shop - the Art & Antique Gallery- where my Dakota Prairie Studio is located and where my custom frame shop is located. My frame listings in this shop are made from excess or discontinued frame moulding. In my brick and mortar shop I offer my husband and daughter's original jewelry designs, plus other local artists' work.

I have a great supportive family who allow me to be creative when I want to be.

I have a simple philosophy- make each day count and do something nice for someone every day. I enjoy painting with watercolor, oils, acrylics and pastels- painting lots of different subjects. Enjoy my shop and thanks for looking!

Welcome to my shop!

When you view my shop, you will see that I love to paint and that I work in watercolor, acrylic and oil. I offer original paintings, handpainted bookmarks on watercolor paper, handpainted greeting cards- each a gift in themselves and also a selection of note cards, printed by me from my original paintings.

I am also an experienced custom framer, and I offer quality, guaranteed service. In my shop, I am offering my frames at crazy reduced prices. The frames are made from excess moulding from my framing business. All frames come with glass, unless you tell me not to send it. I install turnbuttons for a removable backing and a sawtooth hanger, if you tell me whether it's vertical or horzontal. If not, a hanger will be provided for you to install yourself.

Some of these mouldings are available in custom orders, but custom orders will be at regular retail price. Convo for quotes.

I also offer mats cut from excess stock, in a selection of standard sizes and at crazy reduced prices. Some mats are also available for custom order sizes at regular retail prices.
