About

All you need is Love !!!

Starting the shop was a long time in the making.

We are both people that are just bubbling with ideas about everything and anything... but one of the strenght of our relationship is our differences.

We each have ideas, we each have a passion about creation, we each have our own ways of doing things - but it's always when we put our thoughts together that we get things done.

This is how this shop is born - it's an idea that we both had and needed each other inputs, thoughts, dreams... to create it.

Hello!
Welcome to my world where you'll find only quality leather goods.

All my products are handcrafted and designed by me.
The leather tooling, carving and embossing is done by yours truly with tools and skills that have been honed to this level with time and practice. I strongly believe in quality and in durability and I can guarantee that with proper care, all the items in my shop will stand the test of time.

You can find cheaper alternative to the items in this shop - but they will lack the quality of the premium tooling vegetable tanned leather that I used for each and every one of my product. They will also lack the charm of hand dyed leather goods and the character that a unique finely crafted leather piece can offer.

What you will NOT find here is any reselling or repurposing of commercial leather products (such as Tandy Leather Factory embossed belt blanks).

Shipping
Every item in my shop has its specific processing time setup and I make it a rule to ship within that timeframe. If I delay, you will be notified.

The buyer is responsible for payment of any custom, duty or tax charges that may be added to your order

All shipping is done through Canada Post using the Tracked Parcel service.
It includes a tracking number and should be delivered within 6-10 open business days. Note that there is no on-time delivery guarantee with this service, which mean that you could receive the package later than the timeframe above.

Bookmarks are the exception, they are shipped using the Canada Post Light Small Packets service which doesn't include a tracking number, hence the price difference in shipping charges.

If you're looking to get the item for a specific date/time, shipping upgrades are available (please contact me through private message so I can get you an accurate quote):

For Canada and US destinations:
- Xpresspost:
about 40$ and delivery is guaranteed between 3 to 5 open business days depending on destination

- Priority
about 75$ and delivery is guaranteed between 1 to 3 open business days depending on destination

For any other International destinations:
- Xpresspost
about 70$ and delivery guaranteed between 4 to 6 open business days depending on destination.

- Priority
about 100$ and delivery guaranteed between 2 to 4 open business days depending on destination.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns and refund are accepted.
However, please contact me first through Etsy before returning the item.

I stand behind the quality of my work and will try my best to satisfy you - but I can't accept return on the following:
- Used or worn items
- Custom orders
- Item recreated to a specific measurement
- Item that don't fit because the measurement taken by the buyer were not accurate.

Please see my additional policies for tips and tricks on taking your measurement properly as they are your responsibility.

The refund will be processed only when the item has been received by me in its original packaging including every tags/cards/etc. The refund will be for the price of the item only, not including shipping costs. Please note that the shipping cost to return the item is the responsibility of the buyer.
----------------------------------
Note that shipping charges are NOT refundable under any circumstance.
We have no control over this part of the process and regardless of the situation, good or bad, we can't be held responsible for what happens during shipping.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

<<<<< Measurements >>>>>
If you're buying a cuff or a bracelet, make sure you measure your wrist at the widest depending on the width of the bracelet. A half inch bracelet will NOT sit on your wrist in the same place as a 2 inch cuff.

Make sure to measure your wrist.
Don't add anything to the real measurement of your wrist before sending that to me. I will add the proper length to your measurement so the bracelet fits properly. However, please do let me know if you'd like the fit a bit tight or a bit loose as this will influence the final length

<<<<< Leather information and care >>>>>
The leather I use is always a little stiff right from the hide - even if I condition it in the making process. You need to give the leather some time to soften up and mold to the wearer.

After a while, the leather should be recondition using oils made for that purpose or a leather conditioner. These products can be found in any store that sells leather goods. Also, the water-resistant finish also need to be replenished after some time depending to what the item was exposed to. Again the appropriate products can be bought in any leather store.

<<<<< Important Notice >>>>>
Leather is a natural skin and is not waterproof or even water-resistant by itself.
Water (even just one drop) will be absorded by leather and it will stain.

My products are all treated with a water-resistant finish (note that I did NOT use the word waterproof). This finish will help the leather item resist a couple of drops here and there - like a light rain or a sweaty day. However, if the item keeps getting wet, the finish will not be able to protect it.

So you should always be careful around water with your leather items.
They should never be totally immersed in water.
They should never be kept in a very humid place (the water will slowly accumulate in the leather and it will start to rot).

If you want the item to be waterproof - there are a millions products on the market sold mainly for leather jackets and shoes. You can use these on my products and it will improve tremendously the resist of the item against water.

<<<<< "One of a kind" >>>>>
Handmade leather items are truly one of kind.
Just using a different part of the same hide will not guarantee exactly the same dye absorption, the same look, the same feel. You should not expect 2 similar items to look exactly the same.

Keep in mind that dye colours can vary, as will the leather grain.

<<<<< Custom orders >>>>>
I'll be very happy to fill custom orders as simple or as complicated as what you have in mind seems to be. If you want to see what I've produced in the past (that doesn't always make it to my Etsy shop) - look me up on facebook.

You'll be glad you did because with leatherworking, the sky is the limit. Think up pretty much anything and I'll find a way to make it for you!

Custom orders may require a upfront non-refundable deposit depending on the nature of the work involved.

On a last note...
Please use feedback to critique my work and the entire process, not the delivery time as I have no control over this.

Thank You !!!
