Welcome to the Teahouse! …Which is strangely devoid of tea-related objects. This shop is primarily devoted to Doctor Who bookmarks, although I do intend to add some other geeky designs. If you have suggestions or requests, please let me know!

Since all my items are handmade, there will be small variations from the photos in the item descriptions. They are made in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.

While I may have some bookmarks in stock already, I make most products when they are ordered. This means that each bookmark you buy will take 3-4 days to complete. If you order 3 bookmarks, for example, it will be 9-12 days before they ship. If you would like me to confirm how long a specific order will take, or want to know the status of your current order, feel free to message me.

If the number of bookmarks you want to order is higher than the quantity listed in the item description, contact me and I’ll increase the quantity.

Finally, you should be aware that revenue from sales may or may not go towards geeky things like my very own hovering TARDIS. I mean, come on, who doesn’t need a hovering TARDIS? I also support the Desert Bus for Hope fundraiser, and donate both crafts and money to the event.


I accept payments through Paypal. If you use an e-cheque, I will ship your order once the cheque has cleared (or once your items are completed, if they are not finished before the cheque clears).

If you know what you want but can’t pay yet (perhaps you’re waiting for that next pay day), send me a message and I will start working on your items. Then when you do place your order, you will have less time to wait before I ship it. You might not even have to wait at all.

If you want to cancel your purchase for any reason, you can do so any time before your order ships.


I will ship your order within 2 business days of completing it. If you need your order to arrive by a certain date or in less than 3-4 days per item, let me know before you order and we’ll see if we can work something out.

I ship items by letter-post whenever possible, as it costs you the lowest amount of money. Your package should arrive about 3-8 days after it is shipped, although it will occasionally take longer, especially over the holidays.

If you would like tracking information or faster shipping, let me know, but be aware that this will raise the cost of shipping significantly. Registered mail is about $14 on top of regular shipping costs. If you live in Canada or the United States, a two-day delivery (which includes tracking) will cost around $10-$20 extra. Unfortunately, the cost of speedy shipping to other countries is much more expensive – at least $60. Message me for an exact quote if you would like to upgrade your shipping. I can make changes to your invoice after you place your order, but I recommend contacting me before you purchase, so you know what price to expect.

Please be aware that if you are ordering from outside of Canada, your purchase may be subject to customs and duties.

Christmas shipping deadlines:
Canada - Dec 10
United States - Dec 8
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that international orders will arrive before Christmas. If you order 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas there is a good chance they will, but Canada Post's international shipping deadline has already passed. You can still place orders once a shipping deadline is passed, but your package may not arrive until after Christmas. Faster shipping options are available, but will cost significantly more. Send me a conversation if you would like more information.

Refunds and Exchanges

I accept returns and exchanges only if there is a problem with your order (for example, if I sent you the wrong item or there is a mistake in the design). In this case, please notify me within one week of receiving your order. I will pay the shipping for returning the item, and for sending a new one if you want a replacement.

Once your package is in the mail I’m afraid it is out of my hands. Items damaged or lost in the mail are the responsibility of Canada Post and I do not offer refunds for them. I will, however, do my best to ensure that your order is properly packaged and addressed. If problems arise because of an error on my part, please contact me.

Keep in mind that cross stitch is my main area of expertise, and I don’t have much experience with other types of crafts. I am, however, happy to work with subjects other than Doctor Who. So if you want something video game-themed, or even something that *gasp* isn’t nerdy, send me a message! If it’s within my abilities I’ll be happy to make it for you.

If you want one of my designs but would like a small change to it (a different colour of felt or of writing, for example), contact me and I can probably make it happen, with little or no increase in cost.
