About

Dana Glover

Dana Glover is an illustrator, printmaker and first year tattooer living in Brooklyn, NY. She was raised just north of New York City next to a small woodland cemetery where her young mind found fascination with the beauty of death in the natural cycle. As a longtime devotee of gothic aesthetics, her work is influenced by 16th century etchings, funerary art, memento mori, Victorian mourning jewelry, nature, and feminism in the occult. Determined to live and work as a visual artist, she began her own one woman business in 2013 that she runs from her apartment. You will find her delicately lined and stippled macabre designs in the form of patches, prints, pins, t-shirts, and original artwork.

If you receive your item in unsatisfactory condition and you believe it's not by fault of USPS, please contact me right away. Also, please carefully refer to any size charts I've provided before placing clothing orders.

Shipping
I am not responsible for any packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Please refer to the shipping FAQ below for commonly asked questions regarding processing time, lost packages, and international shipments.

*Processing Time*
All items are shipped via USPS first class. Once payment is confirmed, please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping, unless otherwise noted. This means that your order may not be mailed out for up to 2 weeks from the day you place your order, so please be mindful of that before messaging me to ask where your package is before 2 weeks have passed. I do not offer expedited shipping, so please plan accordingly if you are purchasing an item that needs to arrive by a certain day.

*Lost Packages*
I am not responsible to refund you if your item has been lost by USPS. If you think your package has been lost, or your tracking information has not updated, please follow these simple steps before contacting me:
-Wait for a few days. During certain times of year, processing times are slower. Tracking information sometimes won't appear for 2-4 days after an item has been dropped off at the post office. Other times, packages have been sent out but not scanned by the post office, so tracking info does not appear.
-Check with your roommates, coworkers, or neighbors to ensure they have not taken in your package for you.
-Go to your local post office. An attempted delivery may have been made, but a mail person did not leave a pink slip. Bring your tracking number and provide the address to which your package was shipped.
-If all of these have failed and your item still cannot be located, please contact me so we can figure out the issue!

*INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ*
Orders outside the US can take up to 6 weeks to ship. Some countries will hold packages at the border for extended periods of time, so I have no control over how long it takes to reach its destination. Please be aware that your country may charge additional customs duty and/or import taxes. All international buyers are responsible for paying any customs tax incurred on their import. As a licensed business, I will not put false information on customs forms because it's illegal. Please do not ask me to mark "gift" on your customs form, because I can be fined for doing so.
Additional policies and FAQs
I maintain the rights over all images I produce. Please do not copy or reproduce my images in any way without permission.

As always, your feedback is very important to me and my growth as a small business owner! If you feel that you need to leave negative feedback for any reason, please make sure to contact me beforehand, as I'm very accommodating and I'm sure we can work something out. Keep in mind that I'm only one person and that I'm doing the best I can.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Frequently asked questions
Do you do custom orders?

Due to my busy schedule, I am unable to accommodate custom orders at this time.

Will you make this patch in a different size or color?

This still falls under custom orders, and I unfortunately do not have the time to meet specific requests due to my busy schedule.

Can I wash my patch?

Yes! The canvas is 100% cotton and the ink is heat set, so it will not run. It may go without saying, but if you frequently wash your patch, it will eventually fade just as a t-shirt would. I recommend washing with cold water and avoiding high heat in the dryer so it will last longer.

Can I get this tattooed?

I'm a tattoo apprentice at Gristle Tattoo in Brooklyn, so please email dana@gristletattoo.com to inquire about what designs are available to be tattooed by me.
If you are unable to come to Brooklyn, I ask that you please ask for my permission before getting my designs tattooed by another artist. Under these circumstances, I also ask that you at least support my work by buying something from my shop.
Unless I'm the person who will be tattooing you, I will not design a tattoo for you. If you go to a good tattooer, they will design one for you!
