    I ordered three custom patches.
    Cost: $300.00

    Pros:
    - 2/3 of the patches are great, felt as described + genuinely well crafted
    - Shipped on time (inside two weeks)

    Cons:
    - Expensive compared to similar artists.
    - Really poor communication once I voiced legitimate and truthful concerns about the 1 piece that really wasn't great. (The 3 words are illegible, stitching is lazy compared to the other 2. 100% confident it's not a piece she's showing anyone to promote her work.)
    - Unnecessary attitude and zero ownership of why it was poorly done. In her single note before she just stopped responding she wrote: "I bent over backwards to complete this project and will choose my projects more carefully in the future." Wow!
    - I also paid a rush fee (x3) and yea, that's what rush fees are for.

Happy to share pics upon request.

I have never once had an issue with any of my patch patch customers. Sarah’s request for the third patch was a simple smiley face and peace sign on a heart shaped patch. It was definitely not as detailed as the others due to the very simple concept she ordered. I was in fact very communicative and sent photos before cutting and completing all patches which she approved. She wanted words embroidered around a heart which is two curves and a point, I did the best I could on such awkward angles - were not illegible. Sarah had issues with her order from the start, I refunded her as she used a clients card (although against my policy) and she sent the wrong address for shipping. I have never had an unhappy customer or worse experience working with a client. Also happy to share photo of patch and sketch of what she wanted.

About

I hand stitch personal pieces of art in patch-form.

Hi! I'm a Colorado creative who loves adventuring, making, cooking, and spending time with the people I love. I'm a maker of clothing and accessories and had my own line in boutiques around Denver and Etsy.

Recently, I have loved creating patches. Having a large button and patch collection of my own I noticed the market is saturated with quick/trendy patches made in bulk. I would see the same ones on multiple websites, cheaply produced and played-out. I wanted to create something more personal, a small one-of-a-kind piece of art that no one else would have.

Because all of my patches are hand drawn and sewn, they are all unique (like little patchy snowflakes). My portrait patches are my favorite to work on, its funny how much a patch can capture a person's essence. They are wonderful Christmas, birthday, wedding gifts or just a little something special for yourself.

Please feel free to message me for any special requests or questions!
