Welcome

Dancing Moon LLC works with local artisans to create unique limited edition furniture and home accessories. We have passion and love for what we do. Each piece is is handcrafted, has a unique character and is built to last. Each piece is delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the contributing artists and marked with an edition number. We make home decorating easy. We value our customers and assure a positive experience every time. We are committed to preserve the environment and use reclaimed materials and environmentally friendly finishes as much as practical.

Payment

1. Purchasing the Products
• All products displayed on the Web site are available for purchase.
• If you desire a larger quantity of a product that is currently available please contact us via email at info [!at] dancingmoonfurniture.com and we will respond within 24 to 48 hours with delivery times.
• Prices are as displayed on the web site and they do not include tax and shipping charges. Although a rare occurrence, if a price is incorrectly listed on the web site because of a typographical error Dancing Moon LLC shall have the right to cancel the order, we will inform you via email within 24 to 48 hours and refund your credit card in the event it has been charged.
• Our intent is to accurately represent the appearance of the products we sell. However, please keep in mind that if your monitor color settings have been changed or are not set to the default standard settings, a product's true colors may not appear as they should on your screen.
• Please review the pictures of our products carefully before selecting a product for purchase. We provide several high quality pictures of the products with the intent of giving you an accurate representation of the character of the materials. • Diversity of product character even within the same product type is expected and what we seek as one of the means of making each one of our products unique.

We only use solid wood for the construction of our products. The wood is reclaimed from old barns and other old constructions and has inherent desirable character. You should expect to see cracks, color variations, stains, nail holes, insect holes, knots, knot holes, rust stains, saw marks, differing textures, and blemishes. This is the inherent character of reclaimed wood and is not considered a defect but a desired look.

Wood will adjust to the moisture content of the air that is present during different times of the year. The moisture content variation may result in the wood expanding and contracting which will show as small cracks developing or the wood slightly shifting.
• The barn wood is free from any insects.
• Please follow the product care instruction provided and you will enjoy the product for a long time.
• The species of wood used are for the most part chestnut, oak, pine, hemlock, and kauri. The product description on the web site and the Certificate of Authenticity delivered with the product will list the wood species used for construction of a specific product. Sometimes the same product type may use a selection of different wood species.

2. Order Processing
• Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours of the time you submit the order request.
• You will receive an order confirmation just before the order is shipped.
• Due to unforeseen circumstances if the product becomes unavailable we will inform you within 24 to 48 hours via email with possible options.
• Orders only ship on business days Monday thru Friday.
• Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
• We do not ship to PO Boxes.
• Customers who refuse delivery and acceptance of items will be responsible for shipping and handling fees and any other fees associated with the delivery.

Shipping

1. Shipping Method
• We ship our products via United Parcel Service (UPS).
• When ordering multiple products we may ship in common shipping containers or separate shipping containers. The factors that drive our decision are savings on shipping charges and product safety. When we send you the shipping confirmation email we will inform you on how the products are shipped and the actual shipping costs.

2. Delivery Time
• You will be informed of the actual delivery time upon receipt of the order confirmation.
• We are not responsible for shipping company delays. We have selected UPS as our shipping company because we know they are reputable and reliable. If issues arise please contact us and we will provide our support.

3. Shipping and Handling Charges (USA contiguous 48 States, Alaska, Hawaii, Porto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Mexico)
•The shipping and handling charges are calculated upon checkout and displayed in the payment table.
• The “Weight” includes the shipping container.
• Pre mium Ground Service and 2-day delivery are NOT available to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands).

4. Shipping and Handling Charges (Canada)
• The shipping and handling charges are calculated upon checkout and displayed in the payment table.
• The “Weight” includes the shipping container.
• By ordering goods on this website, you hereby authorize a licensed Canadian customs broker chosen on your behalf to act as your agent, and to transact business with Canada Border Security Agency (CBSA) to clear your merchandise, account for applicable duties and taxes, and if required, to return the merchandise to the merchant and to prepare and submit refund claims on your behalf for any merchandise that is returned. In the event of a return, CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker and you will obtain the refund directly from us. In this connection, you also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund check issued by CBSA in your name, so that we may process the reimbursement

5. Shipping and Handling Charges (All Other International States)
• Shipment to other locations outside of the 50 US states or anywhere outside of the continental states (countries other than USA; i.e. Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, etc) is considered "international order" and is subject to additional charges. Actual computed shipping cost will be used to charge the customer. We will call you or email you to confirm these additional charges.
• For international orders, please email us at sales [!at] instrumentalstore.com for estimated shipping costs and handling charges.
• International customers are responsible for paying any additional taxes, duties, or customs fees charged by their local government. Additional shipping charges may also apply in some cases.
• Packages will be delivered within 7-14 Business Days (Business Days are M-F, excluding Holidays) from date of order -- depending on destination.

6. Tracking the Order
• After placing the order customers receive a shipping confirmation email that includes the shipping company and a tracking number. To track the orders locate the shipping company web site and enter the tracking number.
• Note: If you are using e-mail filters and/or blockers, please add info [!at] dancingmoon.com to the safe sender list in your address book to ensure that you receive our notification.

7. Sales Tax Charges
• We are required to charge sales tax for orders within New York State.
• The sales tax charge is automatically applied to the order and displayed in the pricing table while processing the order.
• The sales tax is based on current local tax rates. Sales tax is refunded for returned items.
• State and local sales tax rates are subject to change at any time.

8. Secure Payment via PayPal
• There is no surcharge for paying via credit card.

9. Fraud Prevention Policy for your Protection and Our Protection
• If orders have a different shipping address than the billing address we will do a manual review of the order before product shipment. In addition, a manual review will be done for orders that may seem fraudulent.
• We will contact you immediately, either by phone or by email, to confirm and validate your order, credit card number, billing information, and shipping information.
• These additional steps may take up to 2 days and will delay the process and shipment of items.
• We recommend shipping to the same address as the billing address to with the same cardholder's name to prevent delays.
• We reserve the right to cancel your order if you do not respond to our email or to our phone call within 24 hours.

10. Receipt of Product and Unpacking
• Shipping companies deliver products at the curb. The customer has the responsibility to carry the products inside, so please assure that you have sufficient help to carry the product weight as listed in the confirmation email.
• Shipping companies deliver Monday to Friday, the shipping company will contact you to arrange the delivery.
• If the shipping company shows up for delivery after a date had been arranged for pickup and nobody is available to accept the shipment additional charges will apply.
• Please inspect shipping packaging for damage upon receipt.
• If shipping packaging is damaged please ask the delivery person to document the damage.
• Please follow unpacking guidelines attached to the side of the shipping container if provided.
• Please inspect the product for damage. Follow the Return Policy for Damaged Products in case of product damage.
• We require your signature as proof of receipt for orders valued $300 and more.

Refunds and Exchanges

1. Return Policy
• If you desire to return a product please contact us via email at support [!at] dancingmoon.com. Include the following in the email:
o Reason for return
o For damaged products follow the guidelines in the Return Policy For
Damaged Products policy
• We will email you back within 5 to 7 business days with return instructions.
• Do not send the product back prior to receiving our email with return instructions.
• We accept returns only within 15 days after date of delivery.
• Products shall be returned in their original shipping packaging.
• Products shall be returned with certificates and other documents they were delivered with.
• You will be responsible for the shipping costs both ways (ship to you and return to us) and a 5% restocking fee.
• All returns are subject to inspection by our quality department.
• Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for refund from date returned item is received in the warehouse. See refund policy.
• We are not responsible for items lost in transit when returned. Therefore, we recommend you keep a record of your return tracking #.

2. Return Policy For Damaged Products
• If a product is damaged please contact us via email at support [!at] dancingmoon.com. Include the following in the email:
o A description of the product damage
o We require pictures of the damage
o The condition of the shipping packaging upon receipt
• For damaged products you must contact us within 24 hours of item receipt based on carrier's delivery date and time.
• We will email you back within 5 to 7 business days with return instructions.
• Do not send the product back prior to receiving our email with return instructions.
• We accept returns only within 15 days after date of delivery.
• Products shall be returned in their original shipping packaging. If the packaging is damaged we will give you specific instructions when we respond to your email.
• Products shall be returned with certificates and other documents they were delivered with.
• Returns of damaged products will be at no cost to you if you accept a replacement with the same item type. If you do not want a replacement, you will be responsible for the shipping costs both ways (ship to you and return to us) and a 5% restocking fee.
• All returns are subject to inspection by our quality department.
• Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for refund from date returned item is received in the warehouse. See refund policy.

3. Cancellation Policy
• If you decide to cancel an order contact us via email at info [!at] dancingmoonfurniture.com. We check our email regularly.
• If the product has not shipped, a 2% cancellation fee will apply and you will see this charge on your credit card.
• If the product had already shipped out when you cancelled the order, the return policy will apply.
• Please allow 5 to 10 business days to credit back your payment minus any charges that apply for order cancellation as described in this section.
