About DanielleLeeArt
Hi! My name is Danielle, and I am a self-taught printmaking artist. I minored in fine arts in my undergraduate and graduate career, but my majors were actually based in psychology. I am currently working full-time as a Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist. Due to the amount of energy and time college and work demands, I was never fully able to immerse myself in art.
The impetus to re-engage in art-making was participating in a project to send cards (I chose to make mini prints) for front liners and patients affected by COVID-19...and I’ve been creating art daily ever since! It took me up until recently to fully appreciate the power of art-making and how it has amplified my sense of presence, calm, and creative drive.
I am very excited to be sharing this part of myself with you. I hope these art pieces bring you as much joy as I had creating them!
