Si se puede (Yes you can)
I have been creating pottery and ceramic sculptures since my first ceramic class nearly 4 years ago. Most of the listings are of recent work, but little by little I am listing some of my oldest work that have been in boxes or beautifully decorating my room all these years. It is hard to get rid of some of the things I've made, but I have made up my mind that I don't have room for all my art. And I want my life to be simpler which means I want to have less and give more.
So far I have sold pieces to friends in Chicago. These are friends that know my personal story and believe in me as a person and encourage my study in art. I hope to get my artwork outside of Chicago and to more people, but I am thankful and grateful and extremely happy I have come this far. The hardest part about my Etsy shop was starting it. I had heard about Etsy many times before finally becoming part of it, but the idea of my art online for people to buy was just too much. It was like a dream, and in my experience dreams didn't come true. But that is no longer true now, it is my job to make my dreams come true. It is a scary realization, but I am now stronger in mind than before creating this shop.
I still have a lot of things to do, which are sometimes scary, but thanks to Etsy, they don't seem as scary, instead only challenging. I want to thank the people behind Etsy for helping me out start to get my art out there for all to see and buy. I really do know that I can.

GIFT BUYERS: If you want the gift sent to an address other than your own, please add that address in your PayPal account. Also, tell me how to address the card in the 'message to seller' box at checkout. Your gift will be carefully and beautifully hand wrapped.
Accepted payment methods
I accept Paypal only. If you don't have a paypal account - it's easy to get one and it's free and secure. The Etsy site has a link to the site for sign up. Here's the link for more info: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/225
If I have not received payment within 3 days I will email you and if I receive no response I will have to cancel the order.
If you wish to cancel your order please let me know before it is shipped or shipping cost will have to be covered by you.
For items being shipped in the USA I use FedEx or UPS depending on the weight of the package.
I am happy to take orders from any country, let be know where you would like it shipped and I will find out exact shipping costs.
For multiple purchase orders shipping costs can be greatly reduced please message me before buying and I will give you a quote based on the combined weight of your items.
If you live in Chicago - contact me before or after purchase and let's see if we can set up local pick up or local delivery and avoid shipping charge and shipping. If we can work this out I will remove the shipping rate from the listing, or refund it, if you have already paid.
I try to re-use clean boxes that are in good condition whenever possible -- and I will also re-use clean bubble wrap and other packing material that is in good condition, when available. If you object to this, let me know and I will use new packaging for your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care in preparing my items for shipment, but shipping fragile items is always risky. If an item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately to work out an acceptable solution.
I prefer not to take items back for refund or exchange for any other reason, mostly because of the hassle and expense of shipping on both ends...but if you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me and we'll see if we can agree on a reasonable solution. I want you to be happy!
