Even better than the last one we ordered and it was excellent. Helps us keep track of our dark dog in the dark.

Love the glow in dark. Have seven cats, hard to see at night when laying all over the rugs. Was always worried one of us would accidentally step on one and hurt them. Don't have to worry anymore.

Additional policies and FAQs
Q: How long does the glow effect last?

A. All glow in the dark (photoluminescent) materials work in the same way. They glow very brightly for the first 15-20 minutes and fade over the next several hours. The material that I use usually lasts 10-12 hrs. In the 30 seconds after removing a light source photoluminescent pigments will lose 75% of their brightness.

Q: There is a problem with my item...

A. CONTACT ME! I stand behind all of my products. I will work with you to fix it. Use the contact shop owner link to your left or email me at darkdogoutfitters [!at] gmail.com.

Q: Why don't you ship same day or next day like Amazon or Walmart..?

A: All of my items are handcrafted by myself right here in Michigan, USA. It takes about 1-3 weeks depending on how many other orders I have. Make sure to include measurements for buckle collars. If not included and no replies to emails have been received your order will be canceled and refunded in full on the "scheduled to ship by" date. Scheduled to ship by dates are usually 2 weeks from when the order was placed.

Q: What glows brighter blue or green?
A: Blue is brighter

Q: What width of collar would be best for my dog?
A: 1/2" is best suited for the smallest of breeds, chihuahua, miniature poodles, yorkies, etc. Small Shelties, Jack Russel Terriers, Australian Cattle Dogs, small Border Collars and other similar sized breeds may be best suited for a 3/4" width. Out 1" width collar would look the best on medium to large sized breeds; Labs, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies to name a few. For those extra large dogs a 1 1/2" wide collar is the answer. My own Belgian Malinois wears this size, while not 'large' dog, it suits her the best. I also recommend a wider collar than normal for fluffy dogs.

Q: Do you do custom work?
A. Absolutely! Just message and we can get a design worked out..

Q. Is your glow collar a good replacement for LED collars?
A. Nope. Glow in the Dark materials do not even come close to matching the light output of leds. Any manufacturer who says otherwise is lying or delusional. GID works best in complete darkness, its ability to recharge almost indefinitely make its a good choice for safety markers. Once your eyes adjust to the dark it will be easy to see your dog lying in the hallway or on a late night potty break without nearly blinding you with led collars.
