Why Craft Matters?

About Dart...

DART is a Greek online fashion brand, based in Thessaloniki.

Its purpose is to produce high quality, exciting and long lasting garments that are
sustainably craſted and produced. Our focus is to create beautiful and durable clothes that
add value to your closet. Our hope is to inspire you to acquire clothes that are made to last,
worthy of care and passing on.

Our commitment is to make meticulous craſted clothes in limited quantities. We want
to create clothes that provoke feelings and make our customers feel special .To that end, we handmade our designs in small numbered quantities.

Dart is an advocate for slow fashion.

We strive to make high quality garments that are locally sourced and produced taking
into consideration the values that define us. We put emphasis on sustainable processes, while taking a considered approach to consumption.

We believe that creating a garment is an art that is slowly dying. Therefore we want to
show the significance of the craft and celebrate the skills of the craftspeople who create them.

We build personal relationships with all of our partners and suppliers, considering the value of their work, working hand in-hand with each, with the intention to have a long term
Our clothes are designed and handmade for you in Greece and we intent to keep it that way.

About Danai Rampota...

I am a Fashion person if that is a word.

I have loved clothes for as long as I can remember. Aſter all, it runs into my blood,
considering my Grandma was - well still is at 85 - a glorious dressmaker. As a child I spent
plenty of afternoons around the sewing machine, the thread spools and the handmade patterns helping my Grandma, never expecting that I will be doing the same thing one day.

Growing up I followed a different occupational road, still in love with clothes and the
joy they bring me. Aſter my business studies I spent two years in the UK, living in London
where I was surrounded by fashion fireworks that made me start thinking about how I could
make Fashion more of a permanent situation in my life.

It all started, in 2013 a year aſter having my daughter and having realised that my time
away from her had different meaning and value. It was then that I decided that I needed to get my hands dirty with Fashion. Styling was cool, sketching and imagining clothes was fun, however I wanted to learn how It was made, the way it worked, how every line on paper was transformed to fabric and into the clothes I loved. So aſter many years of studying, sketching, creating, sewing and planning Dart was born.

Dart is this journey.

The journey from a piece of paper to a combination of colours, textures and fabrics transformed into a piece of clothing that is made with love and attention.
It is this journey that we want you to come along and join us .So that we can make you a part of the process, to show you how magic happens from a single pencil line to a garment that you will love and keep forever.

The Waistcoat

It all started with The Waistcoat.

The moment I designed, patterned and sewed my first waistcoat, was the moment I fell in
love with that specific piece of clothing.

The complexity of construction, the remarkable versatility of this garment and the
creativity it entails in the designing process is the reason why I have given them my
exclusive attention.

Each waistcoat is one of a kind.
Handmade with attention for you.
To live in your closet for life.
