Announcement    Hello Folks!
This holiday season and I'm back in the studio creating some wonderful new belly dance fashion accessories for you or gift-giving to your friends in dance! Here are some of the items that I'll be releasing throughout the fall and winter of 2021.

Wear a Piece of Belly Dance History
---< Saroyan Coin Earrings >---
When I learned that this is the 50th year anniversary of Saroyan Mastercrafts, I was completely inspired to pull out my hodge-podge hoard of vintage Saroyan coins. Harry Saroyan used high-copper content metal to make his custom stamped belly dance costume coins. They are long out of production and becoming increasingly rare.

I'll be releasing the first batch of these costume-quality earrings on Oct. 23 and then periodically throughout the holiday season as I complete new designs.

---< Assiut Face Masks >---
If you're living in a community where face masks are required or desired, I've just cut a new batch of assiut masks. Masks will be available on Nov. 15 and throughout the holiday season until my supplies run out.

These sell fast, so be sure to like my store and keep your eyes out for new listings of 2-5 at a time.

And now, it's time to rip myself away from the computer and head back into the studio!

Have a Happy Halloween, Festive Fall, and Wonderful Winter,
Dawn Devine ~ Davina

Inside Studio Davina

Hello there! I'm Davina, aka Dawn Devine and thanks for stopping by Studio Davina. My mission is to help dancers design and make beautiful costumes for themselves and others! Along with the books that I write and self-publish, I occasionally share materials, supplies, and sometimes even finished garments made here in studio Davina.

Recently, I've been totally obsessed with an exotic specialty fabric Egypt called assiut or assuit or... well.. lets just say there are loads of accepted spellings for this fabric! In October of 2014, I published my book, "The Cloth of Egypt: All About Assiut," what has become the seminal book on the subject. During 2017, I'll be focussed on developing a companion book, "Assiut Belly Dance Costuming in Detail." So I will be making garments, costumes, and accessories throughout the year.

If you are interested in following the progress of my new book, you can visit my website and join my mailing list, join me on Facebook or Instagram.

Happy Costuming and Delicious Dancing!

Additional policies and FAQs
Q. Why do we ship 5 business days after payment?
A. I run my business and travel quite a lot teaching classes and workshops. This 5 day window allows me time to get home and process orders. I appreciate your understanding.

Q. Do you do custom orders?
I find it difficult to do custom orders long distance and prefer to work with clients who are able to come to my studio for fittings and design consultations. If you are located in the Greater Bay/ San Francisco Area, you can contact me for my current availability.
