Announcement    Hello and Welcome to DayJahView: Unique Treasures of Yesteryear! Here you will find unique gifts and treasures of yesteryear. I hope you like what you see. I'm on a constant hunt to find and offer items that are rare, unique or one of a kind (OOAK). I'm happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases and sometimes willing to break up sets if it makes sense to sell items individually or in smaller groupings. Categories: Most of my Shop Artifacts are categorized by the material with which they are made. Some however are made of more than one material so do check all sections or vary your tags when searching for an item. For example, an item could be made of several materials such as metal, glass and porcelain. This type of item may be classified in any one of those categories or in miscellaneous vintage. However, if that item is clearly one of my other categories such as "candle holders, bar ware or glass" , etc., it will then be found in one of those sections. Definitely peruse all sections as you just might find an unexpected goodie somewhere.
Reserved Items: As a courtesy, I will reserve items for 7 days and publish the date the item is to go off reserve. If the item is not purchased by Midnight Central Standard Time of the Expiration Date the Item may be purchased by any other buyer. I do not reserve items during the Christmas season beginning the last week of October through the end of the year.
Refunds/Exchanges: All Sales are Final. Please examine each item carefully on a large screen prior to purchase to look for any flaws that I point out along with generalizations I might make when describing "minimal" patina or "normal" wear. I do my best examining each and every item under bright lights and with magnification and describe any noticeable issues. Please ask any questions prior to purchase if you are unsure about anything having to do with the item(s) of interest as I do not issue refunds or exchanges. If I am in error or made a mistake with your purchase then contact me and I will correct the matter promptly. All non-authorized returned items (if in exact same condition) will be subject to a 20% restocking/handling fee and any/all shipping and handling charges incurred will not be refunded.
Shipping and Handling: All Alaska and Hawaii Orders MUST be processed for respective Shipping rates PRIOR to PURCHASE. Most Items are shipped via USPS unless UPS or FedEx or another shipper is more practical for packaging and cost effective reasons. Also know that these carriers sometimes run into delays from inclement weather and other natural disasters that slow down their delivery times. Blizzard like conditions, icy roads and mudslides have all been factors in some of the most recent delays. Please bear with them and consider their safety is important too. While it is extremely rare from my experience, should your item get lost in the mail or damaged, I will file a claim on your behalf and you will be refunded once the carrier conducts their investigation and issues a check for the claim. If damaged, you will need to save all packaging materials and take clear photos of the item and package, but this too, thankfully, is rare.
