I love love love flowers as they bring beauty, joy, and life to any home!

I always loved visiting my sisters adorable little flower shop in beautiful Ketchum Idaho. The wonderful aroma of the fresh flowers, welcomed and gave a sense of tranquility and joy to ones soul. I periodically traveled up to her shop to help her during busy summer months, when she found herself a little short on help while doing her many weddings and parties. So much fun!

I decided I wanted to test my creative side out, so I first started making potpourri, and creating dried swags and wreaths. The wreaths became fragile over time so I decided to expand into the silk world. Oh so many flowers and colors to experiment with! I was my own self teacher. My creations are mostly one of a kind. I like the simple chaos in design, and not the perfect assembly line type style.

I've sold my designs in local bazaars, boutiques and consignment stores in the past. I discovered Etsy from an acquaintance who sold jewelry, and she told me to check Etsy out, so I did.... and I decided to join. I very soon found out this whole online selling thing was a bit of a challenge! It took me over a year to actually sit down and finally set up my shop, but I finally succeeded. I still am continually learning, and my shop is a work in progress. I unfortunately have had to take a few leaves from Etsy as some of lifes challenges with health and moves, have forced brief absences.
