I have been interested in jewelry making for a very long time, and consider it to be just as much a part of my artistic practice as the paintings, drawings, and other works of art I create. I hand select all of my materials with special care, and construct each piece as if it were a sculpture. In a way, that is exactly what each piece is; a unique, functioning sculpture - a wearable work of art!
I especially like working with semiprecious stones and other natural materials, evoking mother nature, the elements, and all the symbolism that each material carries with it.
If you are drawn to a specific stone or material and it is not featured in my shop, I would gladly create a custom piece for you!
