Hot Cross Puns
I've always enjoyed the hands-on and creative aspects to art. I love the way you can capture images and ideas that otherwise live solely in your imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed working on design projects in the college computer labs until the wee hours, fully immersed in design, jamming out to music, hanging out with friends. For me, design has been a career, a hobby, a passion, and through the isolation of the pandemic, it was therapy. It's also a way to remember and connect with who I was before I embarked on this life-changing journey of parenthood. During the depths of the pandemic, art was therapy during dark times. Imagination, creativity and the freedom and expression of drawing are good for the soul.
Pi has many meanings for me. For fellow math nerds, Pi is a great number. My last name begins with Pi. My wedding was on Pi Day. Instead of wedding cake, we had wedding pies. Dear Pi is the intersection of all of the things I hold dear: food, gardening, baking, art, humor and sharing smiles. Fellow word nerds who appreciate a good sense of humor will hopefully enjoy my pun cards as much as I've enjoyed creating them.
