Wow! What a beautiful painting! The artist's use of light is just incredible. I also received it just a couple days after I ordered it. I'm a very happy customer and will definitely look for more paintings by Debora!

This is a stunning painting! The artist is gifted in her ability to blend colors with a harmony that promotes a sense of peace. My niece will love this painting as a Christmas present. I love this artist's work!

About

Beautiful Paintings That You Would Like To Walk Into

My name is Debora Everett and I live on the outskirts of the Adirondacks.

My passion lies in painting wildlife and scenery. My subjects include black bear, wolves, deer, horses, crows, moose, loons and much more. I have been painting professionally for over 30 years. I have participated in many jury-ed fine art and craft shows throughout the country selling my artwork very successfully.

I have been taking on a more expressionistic approach to my art. I have experimented with painting on 3D surfaces instead of the flat canvas. I do this in two ways. One, by building the surface of my canvas from the bottom up, using large gallery wrapped canvas's I am sculpting a portion of the foreground such as trees, rock ledges, and some animals to give a more life-like affect. The second way, by using natures own natural 3D canvas the Artist Conk. Also known as a "shelf mushroom" it is a natural occurring fungus. It grows on tree trunks or on the sides of stumps and fallen logs. Each artist conk varies in size , shape and character. The 3-dimensional quality of its surface influences and inspires my painting.
Recently I have been working on smaller pieces of artwork that retain the same
fine detail as my larger pieces which allows my artwork to be enjoyed by a lot
more people.

Thank you again for taking an interest in my artwork.

My interest in art began when I was very young. My early childhood is one of fond memories. I grew up in the country. My parents owned a small farm with twenty one acres, and I had the freedom to explore the nature that surrounded me.
