I have been creating for as long as I can remember. I'd spend hours in my room drawing, painting, crafts, whatever I could find to make with my hands. Any birthday, anniversary or any excuse to make something, that's what my friends and family got (whether they wanted it or not, lol!) In high school my main focus was always art. I took every creative class offered including jewelry making, photography and pottery. Couldn't wait to get done with history and math! College was the same.

While working as a receptionist, I would always work on crafts at my desk. Luckily I worked for a great company that let me do that. I actually made cabbage patch dolls while answering calls! I ended up being transferred to their art department and my career began. I worked as a graphic artist, then as a computer graphic artist. I couldn't have asked for a better work life.

Now I'm at a point in my life where the kids are grown and I have the time to 'play' all day! I'm inspired by everything around me. Too many crafts, too little time. I put my whole self into what I make. I am the typical 'my own worst critic' and will remake something till it's what I love. I enjoy all types of art and continue to take classes for inspiration and why the heck not! I apologize ahead of time if you find any cat fur in my creations. No matter how hard I try, Mochi is always around, supervising everything I make. Just take it as a little love from both of us!
