Sömnad är en stor sak för mig trots min funktionsnedsättning. Jag syr på bra dagar och planerar på andra dagar.
Sewing is a big deal with me despite my disability. I sew on good days and plan on other days.
Jag har tyckt om att sy sedan jag först sytt en bordsunderlägg när jag var 12 år gammal i en skolklass. Jag har sytt alla storlekar och typer av kläder, leksaker, pyssel, hundkläder, dockkläder, brudtärneklänningar, kostymer för teater och sällskapsdanstävlingar. Det är min passion. Jag trivs med de kreativa möjligheterna och är stolt över den färdiga produkten. Min butik har inte en stor mängd produkter eftersom min sömnadstid styrs av min hälsa, men det påverkar inte mitt nöje när jag skapar. Medan jag initialt öppnade DecemberGrams inte bara för skojs skull utan för att komplettera min inkomst, är min sömnad nu mer inriktad på nöjet och jag försöker täcka kostnaderna för min hobby. Detta gör att jag kan prissätta varor rimligt och jag föreställer mig leendena och skratten hos dem som använder mina skapelser för sitt nöjes skull.
Förutom att sy tycker jag om att umgås med min familj och de är ofta de första som ser mina projekt. Jag värdesätter deras input och ger dem äran för nya vändningar på basplagg. Knappar och band är roliga tillägg till många plagg och accessoarer kan vara precis rätt pricken över i:et till en outfit. Jag gillar att lägga till hattar, handväskor eller ryggsäckar.

I have enjoyed sewing since the very first time I created a place mat at 12 years old in a class at school. I have sewn all sizes and types of clothing, toys, crafts, dog clothes, doll clothes, bridesmaid gowns, costumes for plays and ballroom dancing competitions. It is my passion. I thrive on the creative possibilities and take pride with the finished product. My store doesn't have a large quantity of product as my sewing time is controlled by my health but that doesn't affect my pleasure when I do create. While initially opening DecemberGrams not only for fun but to supplement my income, my sewing now is focused more for the pleasure and I seek to cover the costs of my hobby. This allows me to price items reasonably and I envision the smiles and laughter of those who use my creations for their pleasure.
Besides sewing I enjoy spending time with my family and they frequently are the first to see my projects. I value their input and credit them for new twist and turns to the basic garment. Buttons and ribbons are fun additions to many items and accessories can be just the right finishing touch to an outfit. I like to add hats, purses or backpacks.
