I'm going to have to order more of these soon! Thanks to the shop owner for making the issue right with me. I very much appreciate it. Will buy again. (:

Excellent item, just what I thought I was getting. The item was a couple days late though which explains the 4 stars.

Just what I wanted and as described. It was a little late in shipping, hence the 4 stars.
I believe that crafting can truly create something
I started Deconstruction Crafts when I recognized the disconnection of my inward passions in the outside world. I had just completed my Masters at San Francisco State after years of activist work in San Diego. I was working with a transformational business called Cafe Gratitude in the Bay Area where I was learning lessons and perspectives on building community. I was following several online crafting circles and absolutely obsessed with Etsy. I was taking on fun little projects as well as scary larger ones. I was also totally inspired by the plastic-free dedication that Cafe Gratitude held with eight restaurants in the Bay Area.
I read Radical Homemakers by Shannon Hayes and was absolutely lit up by the possibility of creating something that joined together all of my commitments in activism, the handmade, conscious community building, and sustainability. I created www.DeconstructionCrafts.com first to share my vision, be vulnerable, speak out, and showcase the beauty and power of others.
Deconstruction Crafts come to be because I wanted to share what I've always seen as a powerful connection to caring for others, speaking up, healing the planet, and living simply.
I am committed to creating beautiful items that impact our daily routines and remind us all of our power, impact, and potential. Deconstruction Crafts is my method of putting my vision out into the world.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator
I live in Berkeley, CA where I create from home in my little kitchen nook production space. I got my masters is Women's Studies from SFSU, worked with Cafe Gratitude LLC, and now crafting my passions for justice, sustainability, and love on Etsy.
