Announcement   Demeter is the Greek Goddess of fertility, grain, and agriculture. Although she is the goddess who taught mankind about agriculture, she is also the goddess responsible for creating winter. A very fitting representation for some who loves winter and lives in Kansas.

One definition for charisma is a quality inherent in a thing which inspires great enthusiasm and devotion. I hope that some of my items inspire others like they do me.

Most of my creations fall under the category of fiber arts. Crocheting, basket weaving, felting, and I am sure more to come.

While showing at the Douglas County Kansas Free Fair I have received Reserve Champion for both my crocheting and basket weaving. Hopefully next year I can receive a Champion ribbon!

About

The beginning

I have been making things for others as gifts for years. At one time someone suggested I sell them. After a few more such comments I toke the leap and started my Etsy shop.

I am starting to venture out into attending some local craft shows and touching base with others who have similar interests.

The sky is the limit at this point!

I grew up in Iowa and eventually settled in Kansas. I love making things and was encouraged by a mother who was crafty (she calls me her Martha Stewart.) Most of the things I make fall under fiber arts: crocheting, basket weaving, knitting, etc.

Shop policies

Last updated on May 8, 2012
I love creating things with my hands and am always trying new things. Have started to try felting and basket weaving along with my normal crotcheting.

Some product are experiments that didn't turn out quite how I would like and I didn't want to tear it apart so are priced a little less. They are still quality but may have what I see as a slit flaw.
